MCKV is good for computer science engineering.

Placements: The placements are good in this college. Apart from the other colleges of Kolkata, it is quite good in placements. The placement cell is very supportive. All the faculty members try their maximum to improve the placement. This year, about 60% students got placed from B.Tech and 40% students from M.Tech.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not at all good. The buildings are old. The library room is quite good. The hostel is not good, is a very small room for accommodation. There is a canteen in college, which is well decorated. We have a football ground and also a basketball court on the campus. The computer labs are available with Wi-Fi connectivity. Moreover, the college is okay.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are very good and helpful.MCKV is mainly good for the faculty behaviour and knowledge. The 1st & 2nd semester has four subjects. The last semester has only the project related work and viva voce. There are four labs. Each paper is for 100marks (30% given by college + 70% given by the board). There are about 30 students in each stream.

Other: For admission s, post-graduation entrance test MAKAUT and GATE marks were accepted. The fee is about 2lakhs. The hostel fee is around Rs. 50,000 per year.
