Master in Hospital Administration - Batch of 2027
2.4
Satisfied with faculty and teaching.
Placements: Placements are not guaranteed at all. Students have to find placements on their own. There is no assurance of placements. So students have to search for jobs while completing their studies. It makes it more challenging. Studying along with planning for the future becomes stressful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the location of the lecture halls is not proper. So students have to hurry before lunch. There is no proper allocation of classrooms for any specific course, which sometimes leads to conflicts between students of different courses regarding lecture halls.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Teachers are very understanding and helpful. They provide good career guidance. They also offer good practical exposure and career guidance. It is beneficial for students. Teaching style is easy to understand and includes good live examples.

Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology - Batch of 2024
3.8
I am satisfied with the faculty and facilities provided by the college.
Placements: Around 65-85% of students from our batch got placed. Students who have good practical skills and vocabulary have a high chance of getting placements. The lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. The average package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. The top roles offered are radiology technician, MRI technician, CT scan technician, X-ray technician, traditional safety officer (RSO), and imaging technologies.
Infrastructure: My college provides good infrastructure for all the AHS courses. Classrooms are well-equipped with basic facilities like a projector and ACs. Our library has sufficient books and study materials. The mess and canteens are well-hygienic, and the food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Exams are usually conducted semester-wise. Assessment often includes an internal test, practical examination, viva, and a final university exam. Semester exams are difficult, but our teachers make it easier by solving our doubts.
Other: Every year, fests are organised by faculty members and students in which there are various activities, competitions, and sports.

Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology - Batch of 2024
4.0
Very satisfied with the staff, faculty, and infrastructure facilities.
Placements: I am an alumnus of B.Sc-MRIT of Batch (2020-2024). I graduated from the course in 2024 with a 1-year internship at MGM Hospital and a 4-year course duration. There were about 25 percent of students placed in our course. The highest package was about 6 LPA, the average was 3.5-4 LPA, and the lowest was about 2.5-3 LPA. The course offered the role of imaging patients under USG, X-ray, MRI, and CT scanners.
Infrastructure: There were quite convenient facilities of laboratories and library with a proper water station, washrooms, and good infrastructure. The radiology department was fully equipped with the machinery and patient care facilities, with a proper waiting area and shielding over the treatment rooms. The canteen was neat and clean with a healthy, nutritious food supply available for staff, patient relatives, and students. There were well-maintained medical facilities and a spacious emergency department help avoid a chaotic situation. Sports were available to the students of the college with various Olympic opportunities.
Faculty: The faculty was really very helpful and qualified as well, with good teaching quality. The faculty encouraged students to teach practically, so that the less attentive students also got involved and made an improvement in their knowledge. The faculty made students more comfortable with the course by explaining it easily, and also made students confident to work efficiently after completing the course. The semester exams were held strictly in the examination hall with proper invigilation and under CCTV surveillance.
Other: The campus was very convenient for transport facilities. Various festivals and events were organised by the college in a well-mannered, cultural, and disciplined way.

Good college with strong clinical exposure, decent infrastructure, and a supportive environment.
Placements: So 75-80 percent of students got placed in a good hospital from our course. It mainly depends on practical skills and excellent hospital exposure. Some of the top recruiting hospitals include Apollo Hospital, Fortis Healthcare, AIIMS and other well-known multi-speciality hospitals in metro cities. Almost all the students who graduated from our college got internships as it is a mandatory part of our course. The top roles which are offered in our course are OT technician, anaesthesia technologies, critical care technician, anesthesiologist assistant and many more as it also depends on good clinical exposure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is actually quite good. The college has a large campus which makes it feel quite spacious. There is a big ground where most of the sports activities and cultural events take place. The classrooms are big and well-maintained. They are equipped with a projector and other digital facilities which make lectures easier to understand. We have a quite large library area. There are separate study rooms for UG and PG students.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified with Master's and PhD degrees, as well as good clinical practice and exposure to hospitals. They are really very kind to all the students of our batch helping us throughout our academic and clinical practice. Our 90 percent of our syllabus is completed by our coordinators who teach us theoretically as well as practically very effectively. Our university exams are quite tough because they prepare us for further interviews and competitive exams. The pass percentage is atleast 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course mainly because I was always interested in working in critical areas like ICU and OT where you actually get real, hands-on experience and are directly involved in patient care. One of the good things about studying at MGM Medical College is the clinical exposure. From the second year itself we start getting posted in the hospital, which really helps in understanding practical aspects and building confidence. The hands-on training we get here is honestly one of the main reasons I'm satisfied with the course. The college being close to my home was a big advantage for me so it worked out well overall. My batchmates are supportive and the environment is quite friendly. Our course coordinator is also helpful and approachable which makes things easier when it comes to academics and postings. The curricular activities are really very good and we also get a chance to participate in national-level sports at our college. The college also conducts a fest for students from all courses.

Teachers are very knowledgeable. I had a really good experiences.
Placements: Many of the students from my batch are placed in different companies or institutes as Laboratory assistant, Project Assistant, RnD officer, QAQC officer, and many more. The average package is about 3 LPA. Some of the classmates are working as interns in different companies.
Infrastructure: The Central Library has all the facilities such as issuing references, Wi-Fi, E-Lib, and many more. The Central Research Laboratory has all the lab facilities for research and all wet lab work. Three canteens on the college campus provide good food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum makes students ready for a career-oriented. The dissertation makes the practical and theoretical knowledge more powerful. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is 50%, including the internals.
Other: The best thing about this course is that we get vast knowledge. We get to learn all the new things every day. The college organises many events and conferences that make the curriculum more exciting, enjoyable and knowledgeable.

Great faculty, always ready to support.
Placements: There is no criteria regarding percentage for the admission at that time. I don't know about the highest and the lowest package, but I got a Ph.D. offer from the college. At that time, they helped each student for the internship. PCR expert, immunology, molecular biology technician, job in R&D in IVD company.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available (e.g., Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library) are good, especially labs. The quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games all are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are very easy, and the pass percentage is a minimum of 40%.
Other: At that time, it was the only college that gave research experience with the hospital and live samples. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc. are all good if you want to participate in them with enthusiasm.

Amazing experience at MGM.
Placements: Placements for some courses can be offered in the MGM itself. The hospital provides an amazing experience. The faculty also assists students with placements, in case they want to place outside. An internship is also included in the overall curriculum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. We have classrooms with air-conditioning. Every classroom has a projector. There are 3-4 canteens available. The library is fully updated with the latest physical copies as well as digital copies including worldwide journals.
Faculty: The curriculum is totally true to its name. It has a clinical perspective as well as theoretical knowledge. Regular hospital postings are very useful to gain knowledge. Hospital postings are an exclusive part that is available in very few colleges for biomedical students.
Other: There are many extracurricular activities conducted around campus for the benefit of students.

I'm highly satisfied with the faculty, teaching, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: We are the first batch that enrolled on the course, so we will graduate this year in July. Our college provides assistance with placements. Also, MGM has multiple hospitals all over Mumbai some of which are NABH and JCI approved and these hospital recruit students from our college as well. Our faculty helped us with internships in companies like Pfizer, Ekayaa, etc.
Infrastructure: A classroom is dedicated to us, health informatics students, that has comfortable benches, working air conditioning, and good Wi-Fi connections. The best part is that we have been equipped with the latest GPUs (graphical processing units) that we use to train models that help to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning. Apart from these, our college has an e-library with multiple computers and good connectivity that is open to students of all the courses to use. All the classrooms in MGM SBS have projectors, we have multiple canteens within the campus, and a basketball ground as well.
Faculty: Despite most of us coming from a clinical background, our HOD Dr. Partha Protim Hazarika, explained each and every topic to us very well with patience. We also have faculty members from industries and other college professors who teach us subjects like medical coding, transcription and mobile application development. This helps us to become industry and market-ready. The syllabus has up-to-date topics that not just cover Indian but also international standards, like healthcare standards, policies, health IT projects, healthcare quality, machine learning models, etc. We have 1 unit and university exams (theory and practical) every semester, which are easy to moderate.
Other: We are 4 students in the first batch, and the total number of seats available is only 5. The course has a mix of theory and practical subjects. I chose this course as it bridges the gap between healthcare and technology. This branch has rapid growth in the market and industry. Apart from jobs, this course will help you to start up your own health IT venture and become an entrepreneur. The subjects in this course are really interesting, like CDSS, IoT, Blockchain, Cloud computing, Machine learning, AI in healthcare and a lot more. One thing I think would be great is conducting industry visits to understand the real-world scenario.
