MIT School of Engineering & Science offers scholarship to Economically Weaker Section students, which is given to the BTech candidates in first year, 10% on merit, which is divided equally between the open and reserved categories.

MITS School of Engineering has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
After 10th Diploma	Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent conducted by BSE, Odisha/equivalent are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.
