Amity University Patna follows both merit-based and entrance-based admission criteria for its various programs. The specific admission criteria vary depending on the program. For example, admission to the B.Tech programme is based on the JEE Main or Amity JEE, while admission to the MBA programme is determined by entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, or GMAT. On the other hand, admission to some UG courses is based on merit, and for the MBA program, the selection process involves entrance exams followed by a personal interview and group discussion. The university also offers integrated programs, including BCA+MCA, BBA+MBA, BA LLB (Hons.), and BBA LLB (Hons.). Admission to these programs is based on merit and a personal interview. Therefore, the university considers both merit and entrance exam scores for admission to its programs.
