Teacher Education University. Here are the Mohamed Sathak Teacher Training College (MSTTC) admission details:

• Candidates, who have passed three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering under lateral entry are also eligible for admission
• Three-year Diploma in Engineering is treated as equivalent to Class 12
• Students with UG degree in school subjects (Subject Code 01 to 08) are eligible for admission to B.Ed
• Candidates, who have passed following exams or courses are not considered eligible under following situations;
  • UG or PG Degree under Open University System without Class 12
  • Degree under Additional Degree Programme or lateral entry mode with less than three years of duration
  • Four-year Dual Degree Programme with two major subjects under Part III
  • UG in the subjects for which equivalence is not covered under GO are not eligible for admission
• Candidates, who have qualified PG Degree (five-year integrated course) are considered for admission, wherein the marks obtained by candidates in first three years in Part III and Pat IV alone are taken into account for admission to the B.Ed Degree programme for subject codes 01 to 08
• Following are the details of which UG Degree subject makes candidates eligible for which B.Ed subject:

• The reservation of seats for BE/BTech candidates in each Pedagogy of school subjects (Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science and Computer Science) is 5% only
• Marks obtained in UG Degree in Engineering / Technology or in Part-III & Part-IV (Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics), Physical Science(Chemistry), Biological Science(Botany), Biological Science(Zoology), History are considered
