Absolutely dissatisfied as a student. Campus, faculty, fests, and nothing exists here.
Placements: Here, placements do not exist. It is not normal to get a placement here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. They don't have a campus. It is only a hospital-like building in the middle of Gariahat. There is no common space for students. Either you have to sit in your class or outside the college. Surprisingly, every department has only one room.
Faculty: Although the faculty is not that bad, they teach if we ask them to because nobody attends the classes. But the exam schedule and curriculum are getting out of hand. They schedule exams every 2-3 months. We gave our 3rd semester exam within 3 months last time. The faculty is useless unless they hold unworthy conferences, which they do three times a month. Faculty also has no issue if exams are conducted within 2 months. They don't support students if something technical goes wrong with CU, so students have to suffer.
Other: I chose the course thinking I would get more exposure through my college, like institutional exposure. But here, nobody is worried about that. All they care about is course fees, exam fees, submissions, etc. I wish the placement cell and the principal's autonomy were not a thing in any college. At least they should consider the students. In this college, nothing exists as a fest. In our course, we pay Rs. 60,000-Rs. 75,000 for 3-4 years, but we have never received any festival. The scholarship procedure is also basic, like the state or central government. Everybody, including SC, ST, and OBC students, can apply.

Everything is good I am very proud to study in this college.
Placements: An average of 20 students is placed in this course. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. About 50% of students got internships at TCS. The top roles offered are associate, intern, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and all facilities are available except the hostel. Canteen and medical facilities are available. Also, you can go to the gym or enjoy indoor games. But my classmates had some difficulty finding PG. Otherwise, everything is fine. You can take admission in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are so efficient and best in their subject. The semester is not difficult at all, but there is a viva (moral) process that I didn't like personally. The teachers are so helpful to all the students. They are very much qualified. Also, the pass percentage is much higher than the failed ones.
Other: I want to become a professor so I chose this course.

I recommend students join other colleges.
Placements: In our college, only 10% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 4,000 per month. Top recruiting companies did not visit our campus. If we asked any doubt, they would insult us.
Infrastructure: Labs looked haunted. The campus area was not clean. Our college did not provide good facilities. Sports were not good. Canteen and medical facilities were not available. The canteen had a few items of high value.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful.
Other: Functions were conducted in other places as the college was not spacious.

Review of Muralidhar Girl's College.
Placements: During the pandemic, our college did not provide any placements for students. Around 2-3 students got placed from the off-campus drive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average. Our college had only one building. Wi-Fi facility was not available for students. The playground was not available in our college. There were sufficient laboratories for students to attend practical classes. There was only one library in our college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful to students. Some of them had not cooperated with students. Their teaching quality was average. For the last 3 semesters, there was an online examination process that was not suitable for students. The course curriculum was relevant.
Other: Our college should focus on on-campus placements.

A great college for those who really want to study and learn in-depth.
Placements: The college is yet to provide placement opportunities. As per my knowledge, the placement cell works hard to get students placed. However, most of my seniors opted to study further instead of taking up a job, but the college provided them with enough chances to get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average but developing with great speed. There is a gym, and different games facilities are available in the common room which makes it so much better. The library is well-equipped, and there's a lift to use in emergency conditions. There is a medical room available on the campus, and there are various labs dedicated to each subject. The building is pretty old but magnificent. The college doesn't provide any hostel facility, and the entire college is under CCTV surveillance. The condition of the washrooms could have been better. The college is located in a prime location of the city, and the campus only misses a playground.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and extremely qualified. The faculty members use various sorts of study methods, and there are dedicated seminar halls for each subject. There are separate libraries for each department. Apart from the regular teaching tools, the college also has a television and computer with internet connection.
Other: We have various cultural and academic events like debates, extempore, dance and music competitions, and many other events are constantly happening on the campus.

The college has improved a lot in every field.
Placements: In my batch, year 2024 only 3 number have been placed in potential tourism companies. The highest package offered after graduation was 15000 and the lowest was 5000. The top recruiting companies are Wings and Wheel and SOTC. Total 80 percent of students got an internship from SOTC, We destination.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college has improved drastically. There are labs for tourism and journalism department. The library has vast number of books that are needed and also contains computers for students use. The canteen and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that we students have vast knowledge about the course. They helped us to become industry ready by arranging several internships. The course curriculum is very much relevant which consists tour report, internship, computer knowledge etc. The semester exams are moderate tough because many analytical questions are asked. The pass percentage is 30%. .
Other: The course is a vocational course which make sure we are industry ready and serve people in tourism industry, plus I am fond of traveling, therefore I chose the course. In this course I would like to improve the syllabus, it needs more practical training, though this has also been updated previous year. The college events are great and fun. The college is accessible through train, bus, car, auto.
