Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in a course is very low due to the variety of courses offered at the college. Additionally, top recruiting companies don't provide placements for civil engineering students. However, I am currently working with a builder and earning almost 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, and I'm satisfied with the clean water and environment provided. The college doesn't offer hostel facilities. The canteen food tastes good. Medical facilities, including a nurse, are also available at the college.
Faculty: Teachers are good and well-educated in their own subjects, and they also provide some daily practice questions. In the Polytechnic, there are mostly practicals, and the practicals are very engaging for the students. Semester exams are easy, and we also have to showcase our model in semester practical exams.

Overall, it's a good Diploma college for students after 10th.
Placements: If you performed well, you were placed in good companies with a good package. If you were an average student, you were still placed, but the package was less. The average package offered by companies was 3 LPA. Placements were good in the college, and the support was great.
Infrastructure: It was a small diploma college located in Chennai. There was nice exposure to the design field for students. Academics were good. Classrooms were not smart, but still, they were manageable. A decent library was provided. Sports activities were encouraged in the college. The canteen was average.
Faculty: In the initial days, it felt like it was just like a school because teachers were very strict, and they definitely made you feel like you were in school. But after some time, they will be very helpful. Teaching quality was sometimes good, sometimes not that good. The courses were very useful that were offered. If you followed the instructions and studied accordingly, you definitely got good grades.
Other: This was a core branch and had many opportunities. The only thing was the syllabus used for the subject was a bit old and needed to fix that. Events were very less in the college.

The college provide good placements and good environment.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 6 Lacs per annum. The average salary package offered is 4 Lacs per annum. The lowest salary package offered is 2 Lacs per annum. Nearly 80% of students got placed. The top recruiting companies are GMR Infrastructure and Jaypee Group.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are so beautiful. There are separate blocks for every branch and sufficient labs for practical knowledge. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are in good condition. The library is good. There is no hostel facility, but canteen is available.
Faculty: Our teachers are good. They are well-experienced, well-qualified, and well-educated. They have a lot of knowledge and good experience. They give projects and provide good knowledge about placements. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject, and the pass percentage is 65%.

Murugappa Polytechnic College review.
Placements: 100% of the students in this course are placed. The highest package for this course is higher than most other courses. It was more than 80%. Top recruiting companies from India are hiring students from our college. The percentage of internships in this course is more than 70%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. All the facilities, like Wi-Fi and classrooms, are available. The library is not available for students. The quality of food in the canteen is not available; only some things are available in my course. Medical and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are all so knowledgeable. Students are ready to go for industry visits. But the semester exam in this course is too difficult but the pass percent in my course is not more than 90% in any subjects.
Other: I chose this course to learn and earn a diploma in civil engineering. Nothing needs to improve. Scholarship is not available in this course. Campus crowd is too bad.

Review of Murugappa college.
Placements: Big companies are hiring students on placement, which is 80% of the course. The highest package offered to students is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The percentage of student internships in my course is generally high compared to the placement in the course, which is 95%. .
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for the course are superb. Wi-Fi and classrooms are all present. The library is not available for students. The hostel was so good, but their food quality is very low. Medical facilities are available. Sports facilities are not available.
Faculty: The teachers are not very helpful but they are so knowledgeable. The teaching quality of all teachers are so good. The course is not curriculum relevant but student ready for industrial visit. The semester in my course is very difficult to pass. But pass percentage is so high 88% of student in course.
Other: The best things about course is that we do only practical work. There is nothing wish to improve. Scholarship is not available in college.

Quite a good college to do polytechnic in Chennai.
Placements: 52 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 2.1 LPA. The lowest package offered in our course is 1.2 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are many industries and IT companies etc.
Infrastructure: We have good Wi-Fi facilities in our college, and our college is very eco-friendly. We have good ground facilities in our college. The classrooms and the infrastructure provided in our classes are really nice and comfortable.We have good and hygienic food available in the college canteen.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were really helpful and acknowledged. They used to help us with online as well as offline notes. They used to give us so many important questions, which was very useful for us to prepare for our semester-ending examinations.
