Overall, it's a good Diploma college for students after 10th.

Placements: If you performed well, you were placed in good companies with a good package. If you were an average student, you were still placed, but the package was less. The average package offered by companies was 3 LPA. Placements were good in the college, and the support was great.

Infrastructure: It was a small diploma college located in Chennai. There was nice exposure to the design field for students. Academics were good. Classrooms were not smart, but still, they were manageable. A decent library was provided. Sports activities were encouraged in the college. The canteen was average.

Faculty: In the initial days, it felt like it was just like a school because teachers were very strict, and they definitely made you feel like you were in school. But after some time, they will be very helpful. Teaching quality was sometimes good, sometimes not that good. The courses were very useful that were offered. If you followed the instructions and studied accordingly, you definitely got good grades.

Other: This was a core branch and had many opportunities. The only thing was the syllabus used for the subject was a bit old and needed to fix that. Events were very less in the college.

Review of Murugappa Polytechnic College.

Placements: Many MNC companies visited our college to hire many students. In the previous year, our college provided 98% of placements. Companies like CUMI International, Toshiba Machine and Act Fiber, etc., visit our college for placements. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities for students. Our college provides many courts for games like volleyball, football and basketball. For personal development, there is a gym facility in our college. All indoor games are available to play here.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified. They teach us how to be a good engineer and how to develop the skills. They are helpful to develop personal skills.

Other: I have chosen this course because they sent us to industry to get training and better knowledge about the industry. Scholarships are provided by the government.

It has an ordinary infrastructure with average teachers and great placements.

Placements: Our college is a kind of school like experience where college entertainment is restricted. They focus mainly on students marks. Placements are better useful. Placements are based on our performance at that time. Either you can get on-campus placements, or you can use our college reputation for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel. Labs are good enough for students to learn sufficiently. Canteen is very bad, and prices are much costlier than outer places. Sports and games are well-prioritised among our institution. Wi-Fi is not available here, and phones are also not allowed inside the campus.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and we can perform well in the industry. Teaching quality of some teachers is excellent, but some of them are average in it. However, it is average for students to get good marks in exams. The college is good to gain knowledge and opportunities.

Other: I have chosen this course at this college because I thought this college could provide good knowledge with great placements. Every course has its unique best thing. Our college does not conduct many functions, but they conduct basic events. Scholarships are offered in our college. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities.

It is the best satisfactory college in every aspect.

Placements: About 98% of the students from our course got placed. Top multinational companies like MRF, Blue Star, etc., visited our college to recruit. Nearly 60% of the students from our course got internships from our college. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, while the highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our department are good, and the labs and workshop provided to us are very useful. They have all the equipment and instruments to learn and to gain knowledge. The canteen is good, and the prices for the food are worth it.

Faculty: Faculty members in our course are very experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching way is very much effective, and it is in a simple way. So, we can easily understand and easy to grasp the things which are taught by teachers. Even students get interested in opting for the industry, and they are ready also.

Other: I have chosen this course because it has more scope in all fields. Moreover, we can gain more knowledge in our course.

I am satisfied because of faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Around 75% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs 24,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Godrej Technip, and HCL. Internships are provided in many companies as a supervisor-employee.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good especially computer labs are air-conditioned. We have free Wi-Fi and libraries are very silent. The college does not have a hostel but the sports room, medical facility, and canteen are provided in our college. Even our bus stop sir cares about students.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable about the course. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and is helpful to students. They are well prepared for the companies.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Festivals and events are held on campus. The road connectivity is also good. Extra-activities are organised by the college.
