This college is good for academics in 2026.

Placements: For placements, one of the best in Kerala. Top companies like IBM, TCS, L&T, and HRL visit our campus. Placements are higher for Computer Science allied courses. Last year, an average of 2 placement offers were made per student. The average package was 4-5 LPA, and the highest was 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MITS is not that great. The infrastructure of the second block MITS is kind of poor, a poor building with congested classes. I am not a hostel student, but as my friends are there, they said the mess is decent, and the facilities are okay for them. I am a day scholar. I go to college by the college bus facility. We have a pretty good canteen and cafes to chill.

Faculty: As of now, it has become autonomous, so the exam curriculum and scheduling are pretty decent. Faculty members of MITS are one of the great things. They have one of the best-qualified faculty members in Kerala, which is why they have a pretty good ranking in academics. As of its 2024 scheme, it's not that tough to pass out the exams, and our class have a decent pass percentage.

Other: For academics, MITS is the best option, but for college life, it's not that good. We'll have a tech fest every year, that's the main fest in the college, and it's good. Other than that, there are no major events.

Average college life, events, and fest are too less, and the placement is above average.

Placements: 70% of students are placed in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. TCS, LEKTIK, CAVLII, etc., are the recruiting companies. Students secured internships at Kerala Digital, IITs, NITs, etc. The highest package offered to ECE students at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is around 45 LPA, while the lowest package is around 6 LPA, and the median package is approximately 3.75 LPA.

Infrastructure: The department provides excellent infrastructure to support learning and practical applications. The classrooms are equipped with projectors for interactive sessions. The library is well-stocked with books. The hostel facilities are average, and the mess provides average food.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but they do not take classes well, and I don't understand the topics. Only 1 or 2 subjects taught are understandable, and others are not understandable. Most of the students self-study. I think that the curriculum needs to be changed, more practical applications and projects are needed rather than the theory part. Students need hardware exposure, only then can they understand the topics.

Other: I like Math and Physics, so I chose B.Tech. The more application-wise curriculum must be added. We are studying the theory, and most of the students don't really get the concept. They just by heart all these things. More projects need to be added. Fests and events are less here.

Good college if the focus is on good academics but college life is average.

Placements: From the passing out batch 120 among 200 got placed by on campus placements. The highest package was 12 LPA by Mitsogo. Top recruiting companies are TCS, IBM, and UST Global. Many got pre-placement offer internships from IBM. The top roles are software developers and testers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice and the college focuses on academics more. The hostel is also good. The food is nice much better than in any other hostel. They serve nonveg and veg and the menu is according to the student's suggestion which changes every month.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and the classes are really helpful. Semester exam pass percentages are always high amongst all other private colleges in Kerala. The college focuses hard on good academics and the exams are taken very seriously so it's the number one in academics.

Good placement and faculty members.

Placements: I'm a student of the electronics and communication engineering branch. The highest package was about 9 LPA and about 80% of students were placed Top companies like Amazon, EY, and Cognizant visit our college I would say this is a good college that focuses on studies.

Infrastructure: We have a not-so-big campus. We have almost all the facilities like Wi-Fi, canteens, cafe, etc. Our hostel is located about 200 meters away from the campus. Hostel facilities are also average and it is well-maintained. Hostel managers always monitor the students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are all well-qualified. Their teaching qualities are very good and their friendliness inspires us to listen to their classes. Semester exams are average difficult and the question papers are put by KTU It does make the students industry-ready.

Best college if you are a studious person.

Placements: Placements are not an issue if you have cleared all the papers. All prominent companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, EY, etc., are the companies that offer placements for computer science students. Some extraordinary salary packages are also offered for talented students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and is well-promising. All facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, free Wi-Fi are provided. Students interested in sports can also make maximum advantage of college since they have all kinds of facilities and mentors for all activities.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are really friendly and supportive of the students. They provide all the support they can give. Exams are conducted properly with strict monitoring and results are also published really fast. Curriculum has been updated to the latest 2024 scheme.

I like my college but not in the case of programs.

Placements: About 10% of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered in my college is above 90%. Many top companies like Aditya Birla, Tata, Bosch, Cognizant, CareStack, Infosys, etc., visit the college to hire students. Many students got internships from my course in many companies provided by my college. It is a fantastic campus to study and enjoy college life. The college has decent placements with top recruiters. The college has a high percentage of students getting placed.

Infrastructure: There are many kinds of infrastructure in my department. All the equipment is well-maintained and is of good quality. The hostel provides mineral water for all students as they want. It also has good quality food and a good atmosphere. The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms and a hostel. The college has many labs with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and well-educated. The syllabus is taught so fast.

Other: I did not choose this course, but my parents wanted me to study engineering course. So I chose this course.
