National Institute of Bank Management, Pune (NIBM) was established in 1969 and is an autonomous institution for research, training, and consultancy in Bank Management situated in Pune, Maharashtra. It was set up by the Reserve Bank of India (the central bank of the country) and the Governor of the Bank, is the Chairman of the Governing Board. In addition to the rbi, its associate member banks include State Bank of India (SBI), HSBC bank, Bank of America, and other 19 national banks.

It offers a two-year residential Post-Graduate Diploma in Management in Banking and Financial Services with a total intake of 120 students. The PGDM programme is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). It has been certified with ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System Standards.  NIBM is the first institute in India to offer a two-year specialisation program in Banking & Finance.

Institute received various awards from numerous reputed organisations like Education Leadership Award from ABP News, SKOCH Award, Platinum Award for ‘Smart Governance’, Worldwide Achievers’ Award for outstanding B-School in Banking and Finance, Asia’s Best Leadership Award at World HRD Congress, Smart Governance Gold Award for ‘Skill Development’, etc.

The campus is spread over 60-acre and has a high-speed Wi-Fi-enabled campus with greenery all around in a picturesque valley within the city.  It has a well-stocked library with a huge collection of international journals, conference papers, textbooks, CD-ROMs, VCDs, microfiche, and audiotapes, etc.

NIBM Admission Process 2022

The admissions process is completely online, Candidates need to apply to NIBM by filling NIBM’s Online application form available on the website.  The short-listing process is done on the basis of marks scored in one of the entrance examinations namely CAT, XAT, or CMAT  and followed by a Writing Ability Test / Oral Communication Test and Interview in selected centres. Short-listed applicants may have to take an additional written test if required at a later stage.

Great college for banking & finance. The faculty is supportive & gives proper guidance when needed.

Placements: A great opportunity for students who want to make their career in Banking and Finance field. The college bring most of the big players for placement and provides an average package of more than 5 Lacs. Moreover, post that are offered are mostly of managerial level.

The Mecca of Banking and Finance.

Placements: There has been 100% placement in our college since inception with students getting placed in the profiles like risk management, credit analysis and other areas of banking and finance. Companies like Big 4, private banks visits the campus for summer internship and placement. RBI visits the campus for internship.

Satisfied and happy with the college, great campus and facilities.

Placements: There was 100% placement. The highest package offered was 16lac and average was 7lac. Top recruiting companies are HSBC, ICRA, KPMG etc. It is compulsory for everyone to do internship. Some of the students did there internship from RBI and other reputed public sector banks.

The best college if one is dedicated to be a banker or to get in the finance industry.

Placements: All the students from my batch and senior batch were placed successfully with an average package of 8- 9.5 LPA respectively. There was a mix of roles from risk management to relationship manager including credit officer and treasury dealers. Every one of us got an internship, but very few were paid stipend and rest of them worked for the experience only. Placements: Our college assures 100% placement opportunities. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. CMAT cutoff is 93 and last year's cutoff was 87 and there is no reservation in NIBM.

Cutoff of nibm Pune I got 30percentile in CAT can I get cll from nibm Pune.

The CAT cutoff between 80-85 percentile can be the good enough for NIBM Pune. So you chances are very less here.
