Step 1: Application Process
The application process at NIBM Pune is completely online. Eligible candidates can register directly for admission on the official website of the college. They need to submit the form with information around personal and academic details. Candidates must also pay an application fee of INR 2,500 to apply for PGDM programme.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
NIBM Pune admissions are entrance-based. Candidates are admitted based on their the following selection parameters:
- Entrance Exam Score (CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GRE/ GMAT)
- Personal Interview
- Written Ability Test/ Oral Communication Test
- Academic Performance
- Participation in extracurricular activities
- Work experience
Step 3: Selection List Release
After the completion of the selection rounds, the qualified candidates are intimated selection lists released in various rounds on NIBM Pune's official website.
Step 4: Final Admission
At last, candidates whose names appeared in the selection list must pay the first instalment of NIBM Pune fees within two weeks from the date of the releasing of the offer for admission. Else, in case of the not receiving the fee submission, the seat will be offered to the person next on the waiting list.

No, direct admission is not valid at NIBM Pune. Admission to PG course at NIBM is entirely entrance-based. Candidate need to qualify for respective entrance exam, followed by PI round to be able to secure seat at the college.
The last round closing percentile for admission to PGDM in Banking and Financial Services was 50 among the General AI category candidates. Therefore, it is possible to get admission to NIBM with 80 percentile in CAT.
The cutoff was also released on the basis of CMAT. For admission through CMAT, the last round closing rank was 85, among General AI category candidates. Through CMAT, it is not possible to get admission at 80 percentile.
National Institute of Bank Managemet cutoff 2024 was released on the basis of CAT and CMAT exams. For admission through CAT, the last round closing percentile was 50, among the General AI category candidates. For the General AI category candidates seeking admission through CMAT, the last round closing cutoff was 85.
