NID cutoff is the minimum marks that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses offered at NID campuses. The cut-off would be released at the time of seat allotment. Candidates who meet NID DAT 2025 cut-off in their respective categories will get admission. To determine the cut-off, factors like seat intake, no. of applications, merit ranks of applicants, etc. will be considered. Note that the admission cutoff is not the same as the DAT Prelims cut-off, which is simply used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains.

The NID that 2023 Prelims exam was conducted in a pen-and-paper based mode. The NID that 2023 Mains exam for the B. Des programme comprise a Studio Test, which will also be conducted offline mode. Meanwhile, the that Mains exam for the M.Des programme comprises a Studio Test and Interview, which are also be conducted offline. The Studio Test may include multiple formats (Drawing/ Sketching/ Model Making). In case of the M.Des programme, candidates are shortlisted for the Interview based on the performance of the candidate in the Studio Test.

Yes, if you belong to any reserve category, then it is necessary to upload the required category Certificate. The documents have to be uploaded at the time of filling out the NID application form. Note that candidates trying to use counterfeit documents may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process if caught. The NID DAT 2026 counseling will also have a document verification process. The counseling process for the B. Des and M.Des programme will commence soon after the results are declared.

The details of the NID that 2023 exam centre, including the name, address, and reporting time will be notified to the candidate through the NID that 2023 admit card. The that Mains admit card for the B. Des programme is available from on April 14, 2023. The candidate after downloading the admit card needs to carefully go through the information mentioned in it, including the allotted exam center, exam timings, reporting time, etc. Note that candidates who arrive at the exam center after the reporting time mentioned in the admit card may face undue difficulties. Yes, the NID result is declared online on the official website of the design entrance exam. Aspirants need to visit NID admission page, click on the result link and log-in using their email id and date of birth. Note that the National Institute of Design will not send hard copies of the NID that scorecard to the candidate. The NID that scorecard for prelims will include details like Part I, Part II, and total scores secured by the candidate in the exam. Meanwhile, the scorecard for that Mains will also include the NID that 2023 merit rank of the candidate.

The Mains exam for the B. Des programme will be conducted offline in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kolkata & Kurukshetra. The candidate was given the option to select test cities between April 3-5, 2023. The allotment of exam city was done on a first-come, first-served basis. The details of the NID that 2023 exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the of the NID that 2023 (Mains) admit card. Test centres will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. DAT Mains exam for the B. Des programme will be conducted in April 2026.
