National Defence Academy Pune offers a three-year BSc course across four specialisations. At NDA, admission to this course is entrance-based which is conducted by the UPSC. Students who are willing to apply for BSc in NDA must fulfil the eligibility criteria and appear for the NDA Entrance exam followed by an interview round which is organised by the Services Selection Board (SBB).

NDA Pune BSc Admission 2022: Eligibility and Selection

Eligibility for Army: Class 12 by State Education Board or a University 

Eligibility for Force & Navy: Class 12 with PCM as subjects by State Education Board or a University

NDA Pune conducts admission process twice a year, i.e., NDA-1 and NDA-2. The admission process for NDA-1 2022 is completed. The upcoming dates for NDA round-2 round are given below:

NDA Pune BSc Application Process 2022

Admission to NDA Pune is based on NDA entrance exam, conducted by the UPSC board. After qualifying the entrance exam and the interview round, students need to register for the course of their choice on the official website of NDA Pune.

Below given details comprise a step-by-step guide to fill an application form for NDA entrance exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC and open the registration form.

Step 2: Fill in all the details in the given slots such as personal details, qualification and choose the preferred branch from the given options of Indian Army/ Air Force/ Navy.

Step 3: Tap on ‘Continue’ after verifying the details carefully and note down the generated Registration ID appearing on the screen.

Step 4: Proceed with the application process by paying an amount of application fee.

Step 5: Complete the application form by uploading scanned documents of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

List of documents required:

• Income Certificate of parents/guardian
• Risk Certificate on a non-judicial stamp paper
• Legal Agreement Bond on non-judicial stamp paper
• Supplementary Legal Agreement Bond for Cadets unable to produce any of the following:
  • Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet
  • Class 12 Certificate and Marksheet
• Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority i.e. Gram Sabha/Tahsildar/SDM
• Data Entry Form (Particulars of Cadets)
• A proficiency certificate if held in outdoor activities/sports should be brought by the cadet
• Aadhaar Card along with 5 attested copies
• Photocopies of PAN Card (Five copies)
• Recent passport size 2 photographs
• Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) admission form in duplicate along with:
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Two copies of Class 10 and 12  passing certificates and Mark sheets
  • Two copies of the Aadhaar Card
