A good pharmacy college in the Northeast region.
Placements: Cipla and Sun are the companies where most students want to go and work. Around 40% of students get internships at Lupin.
Infrastructure: The lab and classrooms are good and well maintained. They have a projector in every class. The lab contains all facilities required in a pharmacy college. The library is also there, with all books available, including all pharmacopeia. The lab contains all the equipment and journals that are needed.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and have experience in both practical and theory. Teachers are well educated. The lab assistants are also well trained and educated. They guide us properly in every topic, practical, and other extra activities.
Other: I always want to build my career in the medical line, that's why I chose this course. I will pass out in 2026. Now I am in the 7th semester. There are many students in our class. The total strength is 48. The package our college offers is Rs. 60,000 admission fee and 55,000 per semester fee.

Overall it is a good college to study and is worth it.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students from our course are placed. The highest package offered was 5 LPA, and around 70% of students receive internship opportunities in different pharma companies. The top roles offered in our course are Pharmacist, Medical Representative, Quality Control Analyst, and Production Executive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. There is free Wi-Fi, and the classrooms have a good environment. We also have a large library to study. They have some games like cricket, football, and badminton, and there is a good canteen where we can find everything for our lunch, and the quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, educated, and well-qualified. They prepare students for future projects. The pass percentage is 50%. The lectures are loud and clear, so everybody can understand and write down in their notebooks. Overall, the staff is very good.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: So basically, NEF college is newly opened and we are the first batch of pharmacy courses. So there's been no placement facilities as of now. Although, there're opportunities outside the campus. In the current batch, we have 60 students for B.Pharma and 60 for D. Pharma.
Infrastructure: There's no hostel at our college. One can have PG nearby. So this college has a big, well-managed, and developed library and labs. The classrooms are spacious and well furnished, but there's no AC in the pharmacy department. The library is well developed for all the departments of our college. Labs are well-designed but underutilised because essential chemicals for practical purposes are frequently unavailable, which is a disadvantage of our college. There's no hostel facility in our college. Sports are organised annually. There's no good scope for cultural events or competitions here.
Faculty: Here, the teachers get themselves appointed for gaining experience as new teachers. After a few days, when they get a good offer, they leave students in between the semesters. The teachers were also not well qualified as they were not experienced and mostly very poor in communication. Many teachers are not friendly and show unnecessary attitude and anger. Nowadays, this course is very well known to everyone and there's huge scope also. The 4-year course will definitely make you industry ready, but you have to study yourself. Exams are conducted by university boards, so there will definitely be a mixture of tough and easy ones. Our college pass percentage is 85% because we study and make notes by ourselves.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in medicine. According to me, the best thing about my course is that one can explore industries and work while gaining knowledge. In my opinion, it would be better if the government built some pharmaceutical industries more so that this course would have enough scope in the future. Our college has no events or festivals, nor an auditorium to organise them. And we are not even permitted to organise freshmen or farewell parties. The scholarship facility is provided here but I have not got it yet.
