Review of NIMS Nursing College.

Placements: Students are placed according to their percentage and marks. The highest and lowest average packages offered in the college are also based on students' marks. The percentage of students who got internships from the course is also based on the companies they join.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure provided by the course department, with Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are fully furnished. The facilities in the hostel are poor, and the mess food is very bad, you won't get the food on time or tasty.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, and they have also studied abroad. The courses and curriculum activities are provided by the faculty to the students. Exams are very difficult to pass.

Why you should choose NIMS.

Placements: According to me, students got placed based on their marks, and the average in the lowest package offers is also based on their marks, like if you get more than 8 CGPA in every semester, then you will get a package of more than Rs. 75,000.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good. All the rooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished with the facilities of the hostel, which are good. The RO water cooler is also there, and the canteen, medical facilities, and sports games are all available too.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is very good, it is not difficult to clear all the semester and internal exams because if you study well, then you can score good marks in the exams and pass them too.

Other: I chose the B.Sc. nursing because in the future I want to become a nursing officer. I wish I could improve all the practical and clinical postings in the hospital.

Its a good course with jobs in private and government sectors.

Placements: The placement in the college is not that good but you can go to private hospitals for work or experience. The government jobs are there in this course so there is no shortage of jobs but the college is not good in getting placements so we have to do it by ourselves.

Infrastructure: The college is good in infrastructure with Wi-Fi available in the college and labs for practice and there is a library in the college as well. It has sports club and many games are played there and good medical facilities and with canteen in campus .

Faculty: The teachers are helpful to the students and teaching quality is not that bad its average so we have to study ourselves for the exams because exams are not that easy to pass. You have to take care about the exams because the percentage of passing is not that high.

Other: Its good in infrastructure with hospital in campus and other facilites.

Our college placements are not good.

Placements: Around 100 students get placed. The lowest salary package is 2 LPA and the highest salary package is 15 LPA. Top roles are offered like nurses.

Infrastructure: Facilities available are Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. All the classrooms and library are non-air-conditioned. So 1,20,000 is not good for this range of universities.

Faculty: All the teachers are M.Sc graduates. They are helpful and happy. This course curriculum is relevant. It would be good with fun and sweet teachers. Semester examination is too hard only 10 to 30% of students pass.

Other: I chose this course because I have only 2 options B.Sc. nursing or MBBS in Ukraine. I don't want to leave the country so I chose this course.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, everything is perfect.

Placements: The placement cell of the university bridges academics with industrial practices so that under the supervision of experts, each one of the students gets an opportunity to relate learning experiences with prevailing practices meaningfully. Smart classrooms supported with interactive pedagogical discourses by the experts across all disciplines from health sciences to human sciences, only about the industry needs, rather conducted within the industries.

Infrastructure: Genuinely speaking, the infrastructure is not what you usually expect from an AIIMS because of many reasons like it has been one of the oldest universities and has an open campus. But, if you come here, you will enjoy the north campus life.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best, and nothing less than what you expect. The course is manageable and easy going, so you will find it fun studying in the college. We don't have to write the whole practical file. Exam papers are evaluated within the college by our professors, and then, they show us our papers just like in a school.

Other: The college provides a good education and also conducts skill improvement programme. Every festival is celebrated and students enjoy it a lot.

Not absolutely dissatisfied with it as everything is average. No placements for nursing students.

Placements: Placements are not available for nursing students, but now, NIMS comes under Indo-Japan deal. In this deal, nursing students have free Japanese language classes, and after this language course, they can appear for the JLPT exam. Then you can get an opportunity to go to Japan to do a paid internship. So, this is a very good opportunity for all nursing students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, and the campus really looks beautiful. The hostel facility is available. Transportation facilities are available for students and teachers. Wi-Fi facility is available but not for students. There is no Wi-Fi in hostel rooms till now. A sports complex, gym and swimming pool are available. Labs are very good. A nursing library is available for nursing students as the central library is not for nursing students. Students of any other course can use the central library. Hostel rooms are good. Food provided in the mess is good sometimes, but only vegetarian food is available. Sometimes, there are issues with water and electricity supply.

Faculty: In the nursing course, there are also some medical subjects which are taught by doctors who are highly qualified and professional. On the other hand, the faculty members for the nursing course are average or below average. Projectors are used all the time by the doctors to teach, and for nursing subjects, smart boards are used sometimes. The teacher-student ratio is 1:100. You can learn practical things in nursing labs taught by teachers. Hospital duty is present in the syllabus, and you have to learn everything on your own.

Other: The campus life is average, and the most annoying thing is the university located is outside of Jaipur, and the nearby market is at least 5 km away. Connectivity between seniors and juniors, teachers and students totally depend on the students. Sometimes, this relationship reflects in your results, so think twice before taking admission here. Holidays are not given, but students mass bunk the classes. The university is situated in the middle of Aravalli Hills, so the scenic beauty is just awesome.
