Yes, direct admission is possible at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology. Eligibility for admission to the various courses, intake, reservations, and admission process/procedures to the courses offered by AKTU is as per decided by the CAB/AKTU.  A total of 15% of the approved intake of a course is filled under this category as per the Govt. of UP and AKTU guidelines. The National Institute of Engineering and Technology Greater Noida, also known as NIET Gr Noida, is a private college and is located in Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh. It is managed by the City Educational & Social Welfare Society and is recognised by the UGC. The college provides AICTE-approved courses to students in affiliation with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Admission to NIET for BTech courses can be possible via JEE Main exam. The candidates need to appear for JEE Main exam however, there is no specified percentage needed to get appear at NIET. • Candidates must have passed class 12 in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
• There is no minimum percentage required to appear in JEE Main however, candidates must secure a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or get admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs. 
• Candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12.
• There is no age limit to apply for JEE Main.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

NIET Noida offers four-year BTech across different specialisations. All these courses are offered in a full-time mode. Some of the specialisations in which the UG course is offered are:

Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration will be notiifed aling with the last date for payment of fee. 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.
