The college is great at providing technologies.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college mostly depends on companies that hire in bulk. The majority of students get placed through these companies. Placements also depend on the skills a student has. The recruitment tests are conducted on campus for companies such as TCS, Capgemini, etc.
Infrastructure: NIET has three campuses in Greater Noida. These campuses include the old campus, the new campus, and the business school of NIET. The business school of NIET is the newest campus and also serves as the boys' hostel. First-year students study at the new campus. From the second year onwards, students are shifted to the old campus.
Faculty: The curriculum is very good. It includes subjects that are really important, such as Operating Systems, Cloud Technologies, and High-Performance Computing. These subjects are useful for further academics. There are 8 semesters, and three sessional exams are conducted in each semester.

Good ROI. Placement for 2026 is better than at most colleges in Greater Noida.
Placements: In batch 2026, around 75% to 80% of students are placed, with many getting more than one offer. The lowest package is around 3 LPA, the highest is 44 LPA, and the median is around 4–5 LPA. Top companies recruiting include Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, LTI, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The department has no Wi-Fi in classrooms or labs. Only Ethernet is connected to the computer systems in labs with decent speed and specifications. The library does have public Wi-Fi. The hostel is not very good, with small rooms. A canteen is available. A mess facility is provided for hostelers. Medical, sports, and gym facilities are available, but the gym is only for hostelers.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is a bit low, but if students try, they can do well. The course curriculum is very relevant. Many subjects train students in all aspects of engineering. It does make students industry-ready. As an autonomous institute affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, semester exams are conducted on campus and are easy. Most students pass, with some having backlogs in 1 or 2 subjects, which are resolved in back exams held a few days after the results.
Other: I personally love doing IoT stuff in my school time, so I have joined B.Tech CSE (IoT) as my course. The best thing about it is that it provides knowledge of both hardware and software technologies, which is a great combination if you are confused about which path you can follow.

Decent academics, nice placements, good college for skill development and overall career growth.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students got placed. The packages offered are lower. The average package is 5.37 LPA, the highest is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Aceenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Coforge. In third year almost every student receives an internship in industries through collaboration and references. Top roles include data analyst and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: College has three campuses plot 19, 14, and 15. Plot 15 is very beautiful and covers a large space. Labs have Wi-Fi in plot 19 and 15 classrooms have ACs. The library is nice. Facilities are quite good in the hostels inside but it is very strict it is better to look for private pgs or hostels outside the college. The food in the mess is okay. The medical, sports, and games facilities are very good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best among the teachers of the first year. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but they are made in such a way that almost all students can pass them. Pass percentage is more than 95 percent.
Other: My course has the highest placements. This is the best thing and we get priority for leaves and attendance above other courses. The cafe and canteen area can be improved. The washroom area can be improved. Everything is good like events, fests, and campus connectivity. Scholarships like students get UP scholarship and for girls we have a collaboration with Katalyst NGO that guides girls for engineering and provides them a scholarship of Rs. 15,000 every semester and also takes them to corporate visits.

A balanced college with good academic and placement.
Placements: I think 85 percent of students have been placed and if I talk about the average package it is 6 LPA. In an internship status it depends on the student's skills and interests. The role is also dependent on the interests of the student. I think our college is quite disciplined because of our faculty.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are both excellent. Just the thing that bothers all students is Wi-Fi and internet connection. Otherwise labs are clean and all computers are working and of good quality, easy to use and understand. I am not in a hostel but there is no negative review that I have not heard any negative reviews from my friends.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified and there is no doubt about their knowledge. Teaching quality is awesome in my opinion. It totally makes a student industry-ready as it is up to date with today's tech world and that makes NIET students different from others.
Other: I chose this course honestly to be separate from the sheep crowd and want to do my thing of interest in tech.

Visit first, then choose.
Placements: Hi, I’m a student of B.Tech IT branch, 2028 batch. In my college, almost 50% of students get placed through campus placements. The highest package is 51 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my college are Capgemini, Salesforce, TCS, and many other mass recruiting companies. Most students get internships in the final year of college. I do not have clear data about internships.
Infrastructure: In my department, Wi-Fi is always available in the practical classrooms. The library is also good. I am not in the college hostel because it is costly and due to low college life quality. I chose PG near the college, but some friends say it is good. The college building should be repaired.
Faculty: NIET is a self-autonomous college. That is why students score more CGPA compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant here. You do not need to study many unwanted topics. The semester exam level is always average. If you study one week before the exam, you can secure a good CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because if you ask any engineering student their department, 90 percent say CSE, and I did not like that, so I chose this. College infrastructure must be improved. There is no AC in proper classrooms.

Strong placements and modern autonomous curriculum, balanced by strict attendance rules.
Placements: At NIET, ~85-90% of CSE/teach students get placed. The highest package is 44-58 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS. Around 70% get internships at firms like Wipro and Coforge as Software Engineers or Data Analysts.
Infrastructure: In NIET's CSE department, smart classrooms have projectors/digital boards, labs have modern PCs with high-speed Wi-Fi, and the 24/7 library is massive. Hostels offer neat AC/Non-AC rooms. Mess food is hygienic but repetitive; canteens are vibrant. The campus has 24/7 medical aid and top sports grounds/gyms.
Faculty: NIET's autonomous curriculum is highly relevant, adding AI, cybersecurity, and Design Thinking. Teachers are qualified and supportive, though teaching styles vary. Semester exams are moderately difficult if you study regularly. The pass rate is 80-90%.
Other: CSE at NIET offers top placements and an autonomous syllabus with AI & Design Thinking. However, strict 75% attendance and exam paperwork can feel restrictive. Campus has great metro connectivity, vibrant fests, and diverse student clubs.
