For the General AI category, the BTech CSE course had a cutoff of 247159. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff was 228214 and 149531, respectively. This change in the cutoff ranks says that competition has been decreeasing over the years, since the lower the rank, the easier the admission.
Admission to NIET for BTech courses can be possible via JEE Main exam. The candidates need to appear for JEE Main exam however, there is no specified percentage needed to get appear at NIET. Yes, the NIET Noida accept CUET scores for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university offers four undergraduate courses through CUET, which are:
- BBA
- BCA
- MBA/PGDM
- MCA
No, you cannot pursue DPharma if they are from the Commerce stream. In India, most DPharma programs require candidates to have a Science background with specific subjects at the Class 12 level, including Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics. As a Commerce student, candidates may not meet the typical eligibility criteria for D Pharma admission since they would not have studied the necessary Science subjects.
CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
NIET Noida admit candidates to the DPharm course based on merit in the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP). The entrance test is held in an online mode. The entrance examination check the aptitude and knowledge of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Moreover, the exam fees is INR 350 for General/OBC and INR 250 for SC/ST. JEECUP 2025 will be conducted in online mode i.e., as a computer-based test for all groups. During the exam, the candidates have to answer multiple-choice questions from the JEECUP syllabus. Each question will have multiple options out of which the candidates will have to select the correct one. The authorities will not conduct the exmaination in any other mode. The details are mentioned in the official JEECUP 2025 exam pattern.
There are a total of 60 seats for DPharm programme at NIET Noida. Candidates are admitted to the programme as per the sanctioned seat intake. Moreover, the seat allotment for this diplpoma course is carried out based on merit in the JEECUP exam. If seats are left vacant, then those are filled on the basis of merit list prepared by the institute. Furthermore, the institute shall follow the reservation policy as prescribed by the government of Uttar Pradesh.
NIET Greater Noida conducts exam for course admissions. The entrance test shall comprises of objective-type aptitude questions. Moreover, the institute may also accept CUET scores for admission. Furthermore, candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility requirements can also apply for direct admission.
NIET Noida shall reserve seats as per the guidelines prescribed by the government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute reserve seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC. To get admission under reserved category, candidates have to submit the category certificate issue by a compotent authority. As per some unofficial sources, the institute reserve 21% of seats for SC, 2% for ST, and 27% for OBC category candidates. This is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh was held from June 5 to 13, 2025. Earlier, exams were scheduled for May 20 to 28, which was later postponed. Based on previous year trend, the JEECUP exam expected to be held in May 2026. The application form is expected to be out on second week of January 2026.
For admission to MBA at NIET Noida through counselling, aspirants should check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. As per the NIET official website, aspirants with a valid three-year degree course from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission.
At the time of form filling and seat confirmation, aspirants have to submit educational certificates (original/copies). These documents are required by the institute for verification purposes.
