Our college is very good.
Placements: It is one of the best engineering colleges in Madurai. This college conducts more mock placement interviews. They train all students. Almost all students got placed in our college in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college is located at the nearest automobile hub. The infrastructure of our college is beautiful. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is available in our college. Our college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Our professors are well-experienced and helpful. They teach us very well. They organise industrial visits. Almost all students pass the exams.
Other: The best sports grounds are available in this college. Scholarships are provided to all students. Bus facilities are available in our college.

PTR College of engineering and technology is a good college in Madurai.
Placements: PTR College of engineering and technology is a very famous college in Madurai. I have completed my mechanical engineering degree from this college. Above 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary offered was 25000/- per month and the lowest was 12500/- per month.
Infrastructure: PTR College of engineering and technology is located in a natural area and is pollution free. College is big so a number of lecture rooms are available. Wi-Fi, labs and automobile laboratories are available in this college. Hostel facilities are also available. The Food available is good. And canteen food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced so their teaching method is good. All the teachers have completed their master degrees and Ph.D. Each teacher takes 5-8 lectures in a day. So all the students pass easily in board exams.
Other: PTR College of engineering and technology is an eco eco-friendly college. Placement is good. I recommend this college.

Expect nothing much from here.
Placements: Only 7 out of 38 students were placed in our batch. Rs 12,000 was the highest package offered, Rs 8,000 and Rs 6,500 are the average and the lowest packages respectively offered to us in this course. 14.2% of students got internships from our course and they are now recruited on the college campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available at the computer lab and college office. The computer lab consists of around 70 computer systems. Classrooms are maintained neat but can be improved better for the fees paid. Food quality, medical facilities and games are below average. The campus is always surrounded by dust.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful but not much qualified and knowledgeable. College sets semester exams of medium level so that each and every student could pass them and college get a spike in the record pass percentage. This course curriculum is relevant but it does not make students ready for industry.
Other: The campus is mostly crowded due to many entrance exams conducted here.

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
