This is a very good college and has value for money with very helpful teachers.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Wi-Fi, a Biology lab, Chemistry lab, computer lab, reading room, library, cafeteria, playground, and physical education, which includes more than 10 sports that we can play at the intercollegiate and All-India levels. There is also a medical shop nearby for emergencies.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and intelligent. They help us in every situation or any problem we are facing. They are really good and helpful. This course is really relevant. After this, we can do M.A., MBA, and other courses. Our college provides prominent undergraduate and postgraduate programs affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Its top and most sought-after courses are B.Sc. (Mathematics/Science), B.Com, BBA, BCA, and postgraduate degrees like M.Sc. and M.Com.There is no difficulty with the exams. In the first semester, we have written exams. In the second semester, we have objective papers, and it continues the same. 45% is the minimum pass percentage for the exams.

Other: I am pursuing this course because I want to do LLB after completing my undergraduate degree. In our course, we have Political Science, Sociology, and English subjects. Students with a minimum of 35% or above can apply to this college. Course fees are from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 21,000 for 3-year UG degrees.

It might not be a dream college, but it is not that bad.

Placements: Our college does not provide placement facilities. However, our college arranges job fair but only to show to the world. Those jobs are fake. Some private companies come and take interviews and select students, but these jobs are usually not doable. It has 10 hours working time with a very low salary, like Rs. 5,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Our college only has a boy's hostel, and there is no girls' hostel. They have to go for private hostels. Limit of boys hostel is very less, and the building is very old. There is no canteen inside the college campus. However, our college is in the market area, so there are many shops around. I got a degree in geography. There is a lab, but the instruments are usually old and in bad condition. Only a few of them are in working condition. There are 2 libraries in which one is for all students, and the other is only accessible to MA students of geography. However, books in both libraries are very old, in bad condition and very limited. Classrooms are a bit dirty because pigeons are on the campus. There are not many washrooms in college. There are 2 or 3 washrooms for everyone, but they are separate for boys and girls. The boys' washroom didn't have doors back then, and girls' washrooms are not that clean. Some of them were even locked.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are mediocre, but still, they are better than all government colleges of Kanpur as PPN is counted in best colleges. The curriculum is old. It has a minor introduction of a few new chapters like remote sensing and GIS as it covers a lot of questions in NET JRF exams, but teachers are not able to teach such subjects. Many of them don't even know how to teach with a PowerPoint or how to make PPT.

Other: Our syllabus and teachers need to be updated. Still, many teachers don't know how to teach with modern technology or how to use. Students are also allowed to choose any of Hindi and English medium, but many teachers cannot speak, understand or even translate a line in English. The fee of the college is very low, i.e., 2,000 per annum. Students from financially weaker section can apply and get a scholarship worth Rs. 4,000. It is not perfect, but still, it is better than other government colleges. Overall, it is a very reputable college.
