The fee is affordable, but the infrastructure is low.
Placements: From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Only E&Y visited the campus, and I guess 5-10 offers were made. The highest package offered was around 3.6 LPA. Only 5-7% of students got placed. In the 5th semester, companies started coming to the college, and we became eligible for placements. Companies like LIC BOB Max Life Insurance, Amazon, Flipkart, etc., come here. Almost 60% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: Each room in the hostel has two beds, two almirahs, two chairs, one study table, and proper lighting. The meal quality is average. The menu is changed every week. The hostel is allotted based on the merit of the students.
Faculty: The college is good in terms of facilities and studies. The teachers are helpful. 75% attendance is mandatory. Semester exams are conducted by PU, and it ranges from moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is roughly between 80-85%.
Other: I want to pursue my career in the finance field, so I opted for B.Com. The teachers are helpful, and the course is not that difficult (if attended regularly). Regular tests should be conducted, and all the teachers should complete the syllabus on time. There are a lot of competitions and fests like sports day, Goonj, youth fest, etc. The library is awesome. Almost every book is available for academics and competitive exams. Different newspapers are available daily. Librarians are well-read and are great help.

The college provides amazing infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: This college is the worst at providing placements. Only BPOs visited the campus for placements. Not even a single good company visited the campus for placements. Do not rely totally on campus placements. Some banks visit the campus but offer unpaid internships. I don't recommend this college if you want campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is the best among all colleges. There is a botanical garden, palm garden, and fountain park along with 3 parking spaces. There are IT block, science block, and arts block. Classrooms are huge. Computer labs are good, and science labs are clean. There is an amazing auditorium. The college provides gym facility. Everything is really good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. They are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The commerce department of this college is the best department. Every faculty is supportive. They all are PhD holders and they teach beyond syllabus and curriculum which is helpful in development and exposure.

Overall the college is good for taking admission.
Placements: There was a placement drive at our college in the final year. Some Telecom companies came for telecaller jobs with 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA packages. Very less students join this because of the lower pay scale. There were internship drives also from some top companies like Tata for six months.
Infrastructure: Facility of Wi-Fi was not provided but classrooms and labs were well-maintained. There were many labs like science lab, physics lab, computer lab, etc. There was separate blocks for all courses. There was huge library in college with many books and some rare books also. There was very big canteen in the college with delicious food and juices.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified with Ph.D. degree holders in their relevant subjects. Course curriculum was relevant. There were six semesters in a course and there were two exams in a semester one is mid semester exams and final exams. A minimum 25% is required in mid semester exams to sit in final exams and minimum 33% is required to pass the final exams.

The college provides highly experienced faculty and the best infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are almost 100%. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Companies like ICICI Bank, Jaro Education, HDFC Bank, etc., visit the campus for placements. All the students were paced. Jobs related to finance are provided. Jobs related to marketing are also provided, where students interact with customers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Facilities like a library, building, canteen, rooms, auditorium, etc., are well maintained. All this makes a healthy environment for students for studying. Quality of food served is up to mark. The canteen is well maintained and clean.
Faculty: All the faculty members and staff in the college are highly educated and have higher skills related to their respective field. They are highly qualified and very helpful. They are ready to help in every aspect, be it studies or any other.
Other: The college organises a fest and extracurricular activities to create enthusiasm and build confidence in students.

There is no placement record as such, but the faculty members are good.
Placements: Placements in our college were not at all decent as only the call centres visited our campus to offer placements. If you want to pursue higher studies, then this college can be considered because of the low fee structure. Internships were not a part of the course curriculum. There is a placement cell in our college and those who want placements can seek their assistance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms are not air-conditioned but are well-ventilated. There is a huge library with all kinds of books. Quality of food served in the canteen is decent. Gym facilities are available. Sports were made mandatory. Hostel rooms are a little small, but it becomes your second home.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good as you get to study many subjects and gain knowledge in brief. Faculty members are impressive and have a good hold on the subject. They put a lot of efforts to make the students understand. The student to faculty ratio is 70:1. Industry exposure was provided only through project works. The college doesn't provide any industry exposure.

GCG-11 was awarded the first rank among all the colleges in Chandigarh.
Placements: The campus placements were quite well at GCG-11. A placement cell was also available in our college. Two companies have visited our campus to offer the placements for our stream, i.e., B.Com. Companies like Concentrix offered a role in the call centre. EY also visited our college and offered the role of Accountant. Nearly 25 students got placed through Concentrix. Almost 8 students received a call for an interview from EY, and I was one of those 8 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was eye appealing. The campus was lush-green. The cafeteria and canteen area was well-maintained and hygiene. Fast food stalls were also available in our college. Hostel facility was also provided to all those who want to stay in the hostel. Classrooms were well-furnished and equipped with projectors.
Faculty: Faculty members of GCG are highly qualified. HODs of all the departments have completed PhD. Many teachers were hired on a contract basis. Student to faculty ratio was 1:60. The course curriculum was quite useful. Students were assigned with presentations and project work which help to boost their skills.
Other: GCG -11 is the youth fest winner from past many years. Many events like charity purpose, fashion show, dance competition, singing, art and rangoli, etc., were organised where students get a chance to show their talent. Students of GCG-11 were also part of Hum Hain Society. Our college also organises NSS camps during summer and winter vacations.
