Pondicherry Technological University shortlists students based on the last qualifying exam. Programme Irrespective of the qualifying degree (arts/science/engineering), the selection is based on CGPA completed by considering the first semester to the final semester of the qualifying degree examinations.
Step 3: Counselling
PGAC conducts the counselling process for the MBA course in two rounds: offline counselling and a mop-up session for admission. During the counselling session, the candidates will be called in their merit order to choose an available seat among their eligible preferences. Based on the candidate’s confirmation, the provisional admission order will be issued to the candidate to complete the admission process at the allocated institution within the given date.
Step 3: Final Admission
The final admission is based on the merit rank, category of the candidates, and availability of vacancies at the time of counselling. All admissions made by PGAC are provisional and subject to approval by Puducherry Technological University / Pondicherry University. Candidates who have been offered admission to a particular Institution should report to that Institution on or before the due date mentioned by PGAC, in the “Provisional Admission Order”.
