Puducherry Technological University.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams are very good. Some of the faculty are non-cooperative, but the rest are all very good, very helpful, and supportive. They help you in all ways. Exam questions are very easy, but you still have to study very well, and the exams are conducted very strictly.

Satisfactory college with decent faculty members and placements.

Faculty: Curriculum is very good. The teaching quality is also very good, except for some teachers who make college life feel like school life, rest are all good. The exams are comparatively medium level. Sometimes the board asks very tough questions but generally easy. Faculty members are also very good and supportive, except for some.

Campus life and hostel life are good.

Faculty: Most of professors are good, friendly, and well-educated. Most of them are Ph.D. scholars. However, they speak in Tamil most of the time during lectures, as the majority of the class consists of local students. Still, you can ask your doubts, and they will help you. The curriculum and semester exams are on time and well-organized.

The college is good for day scholars but not for hostellers.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, and the teaching quality is good. Teachers explain in English, I think, in this college. CSE is a good choice for all semester exams are not too hard, 50% is the passing percentage, and the previous year's questions are enough to pass the semester exam.

College has a good ground facility.

Faculty: All faculty members here are helpful, most of the times and they are always willing to help you if you don't understand and topic clearly. Here the exam system is completely dependent on the topics you study in lectures. I would say if you learn everything in the class you can score good marks.

In my college, the education is affordable with good value.

Faculty: In our university, we have one of the best faculty members. They guide very well and the syllabus is normal for everyone. In each year, there are four mid-exams and two-semester exams. The gap between the mid-exams is one month. Exams are moderate not tough or not easy. The student ratio is greater than the faculty ratio. I like every faculty member. The course curriculum is good.

It is a very good college for M.Tech.

Faculty: I chose Mechanical Engineering as my interest. The course provided in the college has the best syllabus. The curriculum has many improvements that help students perform well in real-world applications. A digital teaching method is practiced in my college, and every classroom has a projector setup. The frequency of exams is every 6 months.

My honest review on the college.

Faculty: Every faculty member at the university was highly qualified. Most of them were post-doctorate. Many of the science faculty members will be available in their respective research labs even at night time due to their dedication towards research. Every faculty member also had a good number of publications in reputed journals and always kept on accounting.

It is a gateway to a wonderful journey and success.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for students' academic progress. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching is simply awesome. This course mainly focuses on curriculum and it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite simple. There is a high chance of passing in all the subjects. Some of my few friends in my class also get arrears.

PTU (PEC) - (Student review).

Faculty: The staffs are well-knowledgeable and experienced with PhDs. The course curriculum is outdated and staffs are well. The students can learn here but they gain skills outside not on our campus. Semester exams are moderate compared to other colleges. The students can pass if they score 50+ (including internals).

Still in developing stage, bad placements, bad infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers here are Ph.D. holders. Teaching quality is not good. The curriculum is still old curriculum. Semester exams are very easy, a one-night study can get you a pass. The pass percentage is 35 percent. The attendance percentage requirement is 75 percent.

PEC college review by a 3rd year student .

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified; most of the teachers here are Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful, and their teaching style is also very nice. When it comes to curriculum, it's old-fashioned and it is exam-relevant but not industry-relevant. Semester exams are difficult; you need 50 percent to pass the exam.

Puducherry Technological University - College life

Faculty: The faculty members here are well-knowledgeable, and most of them have completed their Ph.D. in their respective fields. They interact with the students very much and provide more knowledge to the students. They provide more freedom to the students, which is usually utilized properly by the students. Their lectures are very good. Their teaching methods are of good quality. Puducherry Technological University has better faculty members than any other college in Pondicherry.

By gaining skills, we can win.

Faculty: In our department, faculty members from IIT, IISc, and good knowledge professors are present. We never had guilt about asking anything we needed. Our professors are like our friends and parents. They also teach discipline along with studies. Proper haircut for boys and a presentable dress code are strictly followed.

Puducherry Technological University (PTU) erstwhile Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC).

Faculty: Most of the faculty here are knowledgeable, and the curriculum is relevant. Almost 80 to 90% of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D.s, and most are well-experienced in teaching. The university's pass percentage is 50%. There are eight semesters in four years, each lasting six months or half the academic year.
