PGIDS, Rohtak offers courses in Master in Dental Surgery (MDS), with specialisation in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Public Health Dentistry, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology.
Candidate should hold BDS or euivalent degree to get eligible. The admission for PG courses is done through NEET-PG scorecard. Aspiring candidates has to appear for NEET-MDS conducted by NBEMS. After the Qualifying for NEET entrance exam, candidates must participate in the Haryana NEET MDS conselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Haryana.
The Post-Graduate Institute of Dental Science's Master of Dental Surgery programme has the following cutoff date as of right now for admission:
Cutoff for the General Category (UR/EWS): 169 with 50% Aggregate.
Admission in MDS requires a recognised dental college must have awarded candidates a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS).
In BDS, a minimum cumulative score of 50% is necessary.
MDS admissions are determined by entrance exams. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery, or NEET-MDS, is required to be taken by candidates. The NEET-MDS test evaluates applicants' dental-related knowledge and abilities.
