NEET MDS Counselling 2024: Stray Vacancy Round (October 14-25), Result (Out), Registration & Choice Filling (Over), Schedule, Fees & Process

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the NEET MDS 2024 counselling dates on June 25, 2024, a couple of months after the result declaration. The Special Stray Vacancy Round was announced on October 11, 2024. Till last year, NEET MDS counselling was conducting simultaneously with the NEET PG counselling. This year, since there is around two months difference between the conduct of these exams, MCC conducted NEET MDS counselling before the NEET PG counselling. 

Candidates filling the registration form of NEET MDS 2024 counselling are required to keep their application form and admit card handy. These details will have to be filled in the registration form as well. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure for NEET MDS counselling carefully before making registration online. Candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc.nic.in and declare choice for college and course for NEET MDS 2024 counselling. The counselling dates will be released tentatively in the first week of May 2024. 

NEET MDS counselling 2024 is being conducted online. Candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2024 had to register on the official website of MCC to attend it. However, if you haven't filled in the choices, you will have to wait till the next round of NEET MDS counselling 2024. They also have to lock the choice otherwise it gets automatically locked after the deadline and candidates can't modify them. At the time of registration for NEET MDS counselling, a candidate needs to pay two kinds of fee, refundable and non refundable.  Non-refundable: A candidate who wishes to participate in the counselling of NEET MDS 2023 has to pay a non-refundable registration fee for the submission of choices and Refundable: During the registration process a candidate is also required to pay a part of the tuition fee. This will be refunded to the candidate if he/ she is not allocated a seat in the counselling process. Candidates do have to pay both fees during registration for NEET MDS 2023 counselling.

Candidates need to report to allotted college/institute for document verification. They have to carry following documents in original:

• NEET MDS result 2024 or scorecard
• NEET MDS Admit Card 2024
• BDS degree certificate
• BDS marksheets
• Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before June 30, 2024)
• Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) 
• Birth Certificate or class 10 marksheet
• Photo Id proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)
• Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
• Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)
