    It is really quite good.
Placements: Around 50 to 55% of students were placed in our course. They offered nothing in our course. No one got internships from our course in any companies. Top roles offered in our course are teacher and professor.
Infrastructure: Our education department classroom is not too good and it is small. Fan and light are also poor. Hostel facilities are good and food is available like price, dal, etc. In canteen, fast food is available. I do not know about medical facilities. Sports and games are organised like kabaddi, football, basketball, and volleyball.
Faculty: I don't know about other departments but our education department teachers are quite interesting in teaching. This course curriculum is relevant. It also makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult, and I think pass mark is 40.
Other: I chose this course because in the future I want to become a professor. The best thing about our course is the presentation. Everything is perfect. They celebrate every festival.

    Pragjyotish College is excellent.
Placements: The performance of the department is satisfactory. A good number of students secured 1st class every year in the final exam. Students have actively participated in sports and games and secured prizes. Our department has MOU signed with Arya Vidyapeeth College for five years. On the basis of this, student exchange and faculty exchange programs are carried out from time to time.
    Infrastructure:
Faculty: Computer labs have Wi-Fi for academic purposes. The department has a mini library with textbooks and reference books for higher secondary and degree-level students. There is a provision for tutorial classes in the department. Mentoring and counseling are also being provided to students.
Other: National Cadets Corps (NCC) at Pragjyotish College has a rich history across its Army, Naval, Air, and Girls' Company. It is marked by significant achievements and contributions to national events and student leadership. Every year, the department organizes a popular talk by some renowned resource persons and quiz competitions on the occasion of World Philosophy Day. Further, the department publishers departmental publication Dristi every year. Besides, a wall magazine named Vision is also published by the department with the writing of students. Seminars and interaction programs are organized regularly for students. Various competitions like extempore speech, debate competitions, etc., are organized amongst students to develop their communication skills. Field trips are also arranged for the benefit of students in every academic year. Alumni meet is also organized by our department every year. Students are awarded for their excellence in class attendance. The student mentoring program has been carried out by the department of philosophy periodically.

Good infrastructure but needs industry preparation.
Placements: I completed Bachelor of Arts in Geography at Pragjyotish College. There were no placements in this course, as typically BA or BSc programs like this don't offer college-arranged placements. The course focused more on theoretical aspects, and career opportunities are often explored through individual efforts or further education.
Infrastructure: Our department was well-equipped with lab facilities that were always available for student use. Classrooms were also in good condition, providing a conducive learning environment. Additionally, we had a mini library within the Geography department, supplementing the college library. The hostel facilities offered average-quality food, and the mess and canteen were accessible to students. One of the notable amenities were the morning yoga classes arranged for everyone.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, delivering teaching of above-average quality. While the course curriculum was relevant, I felt it required some enhancements to adequately prepare students for industry demands. Semester exams were moderate to highly challenging.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in the Geography department. The best aspects of my course were the extensive knowledge I gained and the opportunity to learn about GIS and Remote Sensing. However, I felt that the course could be improved by providing internships or better preparation for industry demands. Overall, the events, campus surroundings, and other aspects were good and nature-oriented.

Excellent Faculty, Strong Placements and Outstanding Facilities.
Placements: The placement results for Bachelor of Arts are outstanding, with around 80% of students securing jobs. The highest package 18 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA. Additionally, 76% of students gained internship, providing valuable industry exposure.
Infrastructure: The B.A. Programme offers top-notch facilities with well-equipped labs, Wi-fi, modern classrooms and a comprehensive library for academic support. There are also a 24/7 medical center for health needs. Sports facilities include fields, courts, and a gym encouraging a balanced lifestyle. Hostel accommodation are comfortable, with clean rooms and nutritious food in the mess.
Faculty: The B.A. Programme has supportive, qualified faculty and a curriculum that is up-to-date with industry standards, making students job ready. Exams are moderate challenging, with a high pass rate of around 90%. Overall, the programme equips students well for career success.

    Review of Pragjyotish College.
Placements: The college has a career counseling cell and, from time to time, collabs with different organizations and organizes counseling programs. Internship programs are also organized by tie-ups with renowned institutes. Placement offers are not guaranteed here.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of our department were good, and seating capacity was adequate. The classrooms had projectors and white boards. There was also a dedicated lab and library for our department. The college only has a girls hostel; many of my friends stay there, and according to them, the hostel is above average. Food quality is average, and there is a running water supply.
Faculty: The teachers mostly held a Ph.D. They were very knowledgeable and some were very well aware of how to address a students problem. They had good insight and expertise in the subject matter and tried to explain and resolve students' doubts. The course was according to the curriculum provided by the Gauhati University. And was well enough to help a student gain insights into the subject and gain their knowledge. The exams were held by the Gauhati University and the exams were somewhat tricky and mostly conceptual. The papers are sometimes a bit too long, and sometimes some general knowledge is also required to answers them. One can pass the exam with some effort and study but to score well, they have to be persistent.
Other: The course I opted for was for geography, as I was an aspirant for civil services. The department offered good infrastructure and tools in the subject and had its own laboratory and library, which is, to be honest, a good one—not the best but above most of the other colleges. The course somewhat needs to address what is required in real life in practical terms, not something only good on the paper. The college hosted a couple of events time and again, starting from the freshers meet in September to the annual college week in March. In between multiple events and fairs are organized by different organizations of the college.

    Best college in government sector.
Placements: Placement facility was not available in our college. In future, they may develop this facility. We were studying bachelors degree in pargyotish college, and after finishing master degree, we will be searching for job.
Infrastructure: My department is Anthropology. Our labs were very awesome and all the elements were available. Our department classrooms were very clean and projector facility was available. Canteen was very hygienic and clean. There was no boys hostel in pragyotish college, and only girls hostel was available outside the campus.
Faculty: Teaching quality was very good and the teachers were very friendly in our department. Our teachers were very helpful. Semester exams were very difficult and very strict.
Other: Our college environment was very eco friendly and beautiful. I chose anthropology, because this department teachers were very friendly and helpful.
