For Engineering stream (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry- MPC Background): Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. For Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) stream (Biology, Physics and Chemistry- BiPC Background): Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Appearing candidates for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with same above subjects, are also eligible.

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. For both Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) and Engineering stream: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course. Candidates are also eligible who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and training.
