B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2029
5.0

College of Nursing at PGIMS, Rohtak- Best decision of my life.
Placements: Out of 3 government colleges in Haryana, PGIMS for B.Sc Nursing is considered the best. 97 percent of students after completing their course of 4 years secure their job in government sectors and AIIMS as nursing officers and in the teaching line. Students get to participate in other programs. The stipend offered in internships is low during our course, like we get Rs. 500 in the 1st year, and it increases in the 2nd, 3rd, and final year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good. We feel like we are in our home. Hostel staff members are supportive. Every time we face any problem, it gets resolved within a few hours. Mess is so neat and clean. Food is healthy and homelike.
Faculty: Faculty members are superb and lovely. They are always ready to help students. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach only relevant topics and not some random things. They give us practical knowledge to work efficiently in clinicals. An impressive part of PGIMS is that students explore the clinical area from the very first year. They get to take part in the hospital. Teachers are cooperative.
Other: We get to explore extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, sports, etc.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - Batch of 2023

It is the best medical college in Haryana. Our teaching staff is well-educated and experienced.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students get placed after this course. Packages offered depend on students' skills, but on average, it is Rs. 96,000 per month, which is a very good amount. No companies visit the college for placements. 100 percent of students got internships, which is part of our course. The top roles offered are MD and DM.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. There is no Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well ventilated and fully air-conditioned. The library is good, well-ventilated, and fully AC. Sports facility is great. All sports are available on our campus, like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. A canteen is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful to us. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. University exams are held annually and not semester-wise. Exams are very competitive and tough. There are two types of exams, theory and practicals.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor. The best thing about this course is dealing with patients. The thing that I want to improve is my ability to interact with people. There are lots of events in our college, like Spardha, a sports meet, and Diwali mela. ARMSCON is our annual college fest, which is held every year.

B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2026

It is a very good nursing college with strong clinical exposure.
Placements: There are no direct placements in nursing. Students can either work in private hospitals or government hospitals as staff nurses. However, most students choose government jobs because of high salaries Rs.70,000 - Rs.90,000, which requires passing a written examination with a fairly good success rate. Some students choose to pursue higher education such as MSc in Nursing, NPCC, etc. In private settings, it is easier to get a job after being trained in tertiary level hospitals, but the salary is low (25-35k).
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big, well-ventilated, all classes have projectors in working condition, and some have smartboards as well. Simulation labs for different subjects are available, and practicals are conducted in labs. The library has the latest journals and books and Wi-Fi facilities. However, there is no canteen on the college premises itself. Medical facilities are available as the hospital is nearby. For sports, there is a proper stadium with all necessary equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and very well experienced. Many of them also have doctorate degrees. However, there is a shortage of faculty. The curriculum follows the standard syllabus provided by the Indian Nursing Council, making it easier if we want to work somewhere else other than Haryana. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Campus life is good and a mixture of academics and extracurriculars, with yearly fests, sports events, and all festivals being celebrated. Scholarships are mostly provided by the government to EWS, BC, or SC/ST students. It's value for money because the fees are low compared to private colleges, and you can become financially independent early on.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) - Batch of 2026

Best college in Haryana in view of fees and faculty but just hostels needed.
Placements: There are 66 students in our batch. The placements are just decent, the average package offered is 5 LPA. The highest package is around 18 to 20 LPA including home visits. Depends on your skills and the area in which you are getting placed. Government job opportunities are not much in this field.
Infrastructure: The college building is just average, not very impressive. The sitting facility is also not very decent considering the number of students. Library is very good and provides us with sufficient resources, but there is no Wi-Fi facility for the students anywhere on the campus. Canteen is very good and the prices are also minimal. Enough sports opportunities are provided to the students. Fests are also organised to enhance sports activities. In the view of medical facilities, this is the best institute in the area. Hostels are not provided to us for 3 to 4 batches.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in every way possible. They are experts in their respective fields. Exposure to the students is very good and makes the students industry ready. Curriculum is annual. Exams are average in difficulty level with a passing percentage of 50.
Other: I chose this course because I could not qualify for NEET for MBBS. Then I came to know about this course, and I decided to opt for it. The university also provides scholarships to students in this category. It should also be provided to the general category students. Infact category should not be the criterion for this. You should provide this based on the result. Everything is good on the campus and worthit. Hostels are not provided to the BPT students.

Very happy after getting admission at this college.
Placements: Beating one of the prestigious institutes, its almost all students get placements. The average package after MBBS is almost 10 LPA to 15 LPA. There are many companies that recruit students radically related to medicine. After just MBBS best role is being an medical officer in medicine.
Infrastructure: This college was established in mid 20s century so the buildings were old. But there are all the facilities of labs and library present. Talking about hostel, it is also an old building which needs to be improved a lot. Also I do not like the hostel food but other facilities sports and canteen are good.
Faculty: Teachers are really excellent at this college which has raised its rank. They have quality education and qualified faculty members. Curriculum is made well which is followed in all medical colleges, that really makes us ready for the future. Semester exams are not easy to pass which makes us work hard to progress in the course.
Other: I chose this college because it is well one of best colleges in Northern India. Also, the crowd is very good which helps us to train better for future jobs. I just want the infrastructure to be improved overall except events, fests, connectivity, scholarships, and other extracurricular activities are very nice.

Our college is Haryana's top university for medical students.
Placements: There are 82 students in our class. There is a competitive exam for a job as a nursing officer. The only benefit we have is that there is a tertiary-level hospital in which we get the required practice. It provides 6 months internship in the 8th semester of our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great as our college is very old. There is a 24x7 library cum reading hall for all students. There is no Wi-Fi. The hostel is provided to us which is 3, 2 and single seater for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final years respectively. Mess food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us in theory as well as clinical practices. They all have very good knowledge and are highly qualified. They are PhD holders in their specialty subjects. Semester exams are moderate and we have to get a minimum of 50% to pass the examinations.
