The answer to this question is “No”. NCERT books for NEET are enough to qualify for the examination but to get a good score/ rank one must refer to other books as well. Since both AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS entrance exams have been merged with NEET, NTA has raised the bar for NEET. Both these examinations required extra effort and could not be cleared based on NCERT only.

Each and every NEET taker studies from the NCERT books since it is the basic requirement to qualify for the examination. But to raise the bar of preparation and performance in NEET, you must refer to other books and practice from the test series. Reference books play a major role in obtaining a high score and rank.
