College of Nursing at PGIMS, Rohtak- Best decision of my life.

Placements: Out of 3 government colleges in Haryana, PGIMS for B.Sc Nursing is considered the best. 97 percent of students after completing their course of 4 years secure their job in government sectors and AIIMS as nursing officers and in the teaching line. Students get to participate in other programs. The stipend offered in internships is low during our course, like we get Rs. 500 in the 1st year, and it increases in the 2nd, 3rd, and final year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good. We feel like we are in our home. Hostel staff members are supportive. Every time we face any problem, it gets resolved within a few hours. Mess is so neat and clean. Food is healthy and homelike.

Faculty: Faculty members are superb and lovely. They are always ready to help students. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach only relevant topics and not some random things. They give us practical knowledge to work efficiently in clinicals. An impressive part of PGIMS is that students explore the clinical area from the very first year. They get to take part in the hospital. Teachers are cooperative.

Other: We get to explore extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, sports, etc.

Our college is Haryana's top university for medical students.

Placements: There are 82 students in our class. There is a competitive exam for a job as a nursing officer. The only benefit we have is that there is a tertiary-level hospital in which we get the required practice. It provides 6 months internship in the 8th semester of our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great as our college is very old. There is a 24x7 library cum reading hall for all students. There is no Wi-Fi. The hostel is provided to us which is 3, 2 and single seater for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final years respectively. Mess food is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us in theory as well as clinical practices. They all have very good knowledge and are highly qualified. They are PhD holders in their specialty subjects. Semester exams are moderate and we have to get a minimum of 50% to pass the examinations.

SBDS College of Nursing, Aherwan, Ratia.

Placements: Our college is affiliated with PGIMS Rohtak University (Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Nursing, Aherwan, Ratia). Our college provides internships to at least 25-30% of students. The scope of nursing is very wide at present, and nursing provides many opportunities to students.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, and almost all facilities are provided. Classrooms are well maintained. There is a library in our college, which is open only during college hours, and there are many good books related to nursing. Canteen facilities are also provided. The hostel is only for girls.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are very good, supportive, and have very good teaching skills. B.Sc. Nursing is a professional course that provides very good opportunities and placements in India or abroad. Semester exams are not so hard. The minimum percentage to pass the exam is 50% in each exam.

If you are comfortable with university criteria then take your admission.

Placements: 32 percent of students get placed in many hospitals. Some students look for opportunities off-campus, and a few of them pursue higher studies. Their packages range from 1 LPA to 1.7 LPA for those placed from our university. Internship programs are available but not too promising.

Infrastructure: Our facilities and infrastructure, like Wi-Fi connection, are not good. Classrooms and labs are good and clean. Other facilities, such as hostels, mess, medical services, and playground, are available. Many sports and games are arranged by the university for us. Regarding our canteen, there are many varieties and high-quality foods available.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They try their best for us. They are very qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. About our semester exams, they are hard. Every exam is difficult, but everyone can get good results if they learn properly. So, follow our teachers.

If your all needs are matched then go for take admission.

Placements: 30 percent of students are placed in many hospitals. Many of them go for training. Few of them try to get placed, but I say, you should also look off-campus. There the highest and the lowest packages are 3 LPA and 1 LPA. Internship programs are not available.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connections work, but not all the time. Labs and classrooms are good and clean. Many books are available in our library. Hostel and mess are available and clean every day. A variety of foods are available in our canteen. Medical facilities, sports, games, and playgrounds are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative, helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. They teach us very easily with real-life examples, so we learn very fast. All exams are difficult, including semester exams. Everyone, please read properly and follow our teachers; they also help you.
