My honest review of my college.
Placements: From the 1st semester, B.E. students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Jio Pvt, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys visit the college for placements. In college, the average package is 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 8 to above CGPA. Placements and job opportunities-wise wise it is one of the best B schools in India. The package offered ranges from 6-20 LPA. Accenture is the highest paying company in my batch with a package of 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel on our campus. My friend and I live in a private flat near our college. We live in a rented room. I suggest that on our campus, there will be the availability of a college hostel for students.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very well structured here. In the first year, student has to study all the basic courses of management like financial accounting, marketing management, human resources management, quantitative methods, etc. In the second year of college, one has to choose the electives on the basis of interest in a specific domain, like marketing or finance or human resources. Basically, a semester is bifurcated into two parts, one is internals, which comprises a mid-term and presentations, assignments, group tasks, and class participation, and the other part is end term examination. Course curriculum is good and wide-ranging in variety. More focus should be made on the practical part, as the management faculty members are average. Some are good and a few are not up to mark.
