Good medical college in terms of hostels and area.
Placements: Since it's a government medical college, there's no need to worry about placement. After completing our degree, we will surely be placed because it's a highly reputed degree. The government provides us with a job after completing our degree, which is known as a bond.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including a well-equipped library, an auditorium currently under construction, a playground for various games, and a festival hall for extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty at my college are very supportive and qualified. The college offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The college has 19 departments, each with its own building. The college also has highly modern labs that meet the needs of modern medicine.
Other: If you want to become a doctor and serve your country, then this is the course for you. It is a rewarding career that will allow you to make a difference in the lives of others.

Rcsm gmc kolhapur college review.
Placements: Almost 100 percent of students are placed. In the medical field, it is relatively easy to get placed, and even if we don't get placed in a hospital, we can always start our own private practice. There is a one-year mandatory internship in the college hospital, and the salary is INR 18,000 per month during the internship.
Infrastructure: The new infrastructure at R.C.S.M. Government Medical College and CPR Hospital, Kolhapur, is really good. The new lecture halls and library are great, and the labs are well-equipped with high-tech equipment. The hostel is very affordable at just INR 4,000 per year, and the mess is good, with edible food.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable but are less cooperative. They focus on marks in college examinations but ignore extracurricular activities like research, which is really necessary in medicine. The curriculum is relevant and focused on practical learning but can be improved by adding newer treatment measures. There are four exams per year and can be really easy to really difficult.
Other: The courses are challenging but interesting. The campus is beautiful, and there are many student events, including a cultural festival, an academic festival, and a celebration of the Ganpati festival. However, the work-life balance for medical students is not good, and the stipend could be increased.

Best thing Kolhapur can offer is the college itself.
Placements: There is no concept of placements in medical colleges. Instead, we have a mandatory one-year internship that pays Rs 18000 per month. After that, we have a one-year bond with a stipend of Rs 80-90k per month. During the bond, we can choose to work at a primary health center or as a tutor in a medical college department such as physiology.
Infrastructure: R.C.S.M. Government Medical College and CPR Hospital, Kolhapur has the best infrastructure among all the GMCs. The lecture halls are well-equipped with three projectors and good sound quality. The library is also impressive. However, the hostels are not so good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, but we have to approach them first. They don't spoon-feed us. The curriculum is relevant and practical, and the postings are the best way to understand real-life situations. The exams are not too difficult, and you get plenty of time in between them at least until the third year. The passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: This college has an annual event that integrates cultural and sports activities, and an academic fest called Cognitia that offers amazing workshops. On the downside, the college crowd is a major drawback, as the majority of students lack a vision for their future. That said, the Shenda Campus is a beautiful place to be during the rainy season.

RCSM government Medical College Kolhapur 101.
Placements: MBBS is a field where job security is maximum, and you don't really need to worry about placements. You can start working right after MBBS or continue further as post-graduation: MD/MS, which has a monthly stipend ranging from 60k/month to 80k/month. One can even opt to give USMLE and PLAB to get an opportunity to practise and learn in the US and UK, respectively.
Infrastructure:
Well, the college is very equipped! All the equipment necessary for practicals is present, and there are a total of six cadavers to dissect on. The college infrastructure is still developing; the work is going on. A new, beautiful, and huge auditorium, exam hall, and campus road are under construction.
The hostel is amazing! At least, the boys' hostel is. A three-seater room ensures each student gets their own separate compartment, having a fan, light, bed table, chair, cupboard, windows, etc. Washrooms and hostel floors are cleaned on a daily basis. For physical activity, there's a cricket net with a cement pitch, a volleyball court, a gym, and a TT table. The mess is right next to the hostel, too, having nominal prices and decent food.
Faculty: Teachers in government MBBS colleges are doctors themselves and have been teaching for decades. But one thing is common among all medicos all over the nation: the inability to understand lectures due to the huge syllabus that can't be taught by professors. So basically, you're on your own.
Other: Each batch consists of 150 students. I chose MBBS for the love of medicine and to get into this college; you need to crack the NEET UG examination. My college has amazing events all throughout the year, starting with Ganesh festival celebrations, Annual cultural and sports fest. The fest in this college is very grand and fun! Even academic fests are organized on a grand scale by our research club, Curiosum. They even conduct various workshops, seminars, etc.
RCSM Kolhapur is well connected to Mumbai and Pune by train and bus; hence, it was the best choice for me.

This college is average in all aspects.
Placements: The total number of seats is 150, and the fee is the same for general category students. Internships percentage is almost all except 2/3 of students who are to repeat a year. In the MBBS course, the placements cannot be compared to other MBA courses, rather experience in internships matters and RCSM GMC offers rather good opportunities for that.
Infrastructure: It is a government college so the infrastructure is average. Hospital is fine. College is yet great, and there are numerous buildings under construction. The current college is also up to the mark. The library is great, books are available. The canteen is also good, hostels for boys are good, and girls are average.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and qualified. The curriculum is average. Semesters depend upon students' hard work. Teaching is fine, but in the end, revision is required. Faculty members are good in this college.

I am not satisfied with the faculty members of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. There was no mess for almost 3 years. The library was small that students do not had chairs to sit in. Teachers do not care about students even in lockdown. They do not have any playground for students. Hospitals do not have many things, and shortage of beds. A good example of corruption college.
Faculty: The pass percentage was 98%. The difficulty level was 7 out of 10. Faculty members do not give marks, but pass all students. They were very strict about exams even though they do not teach students. Teachers expect students to know all without teaching anything. But they help students in final exams.
Other: Fests were held, but the college does not provide students with money or does not support them. Our college was non-cooperative in everything. It provides practical experience and there was professional expertise. Here although students were loaded with lots of work always they can learn something. Students deal with humans and save a life. They give utmost time, sleep so that people can have a better life.
