Review of B.Sc. Psychology at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences.

Placements: The placement cell is very efficient. They have also started placing B.Sc. Psychology graduates since 2023. As per my knowledge, almost every student from B.Com. And BBA courses is placed into excellent companies and organizations based on their performance. The college has also been ranked 1st for admission and placement by AIMA.

Infrastructure: The Social Sciences college comes under the Hill campus. There is an old and new block. The new block consists of 8 floors and three well-equipped canteens. There are many avenues for programs. There are separate gyms for men and women. There is a basketball court and parking space for students. It is a very green campus and runs on solar power entirely. The classes are now equipped with air conditioning. There are separate hostels for men and women. The women? S hostel has a curfew of 7:00 pm and the men? S hostel has a curfew of 8:30 pm. The hostels provide non-vegetarian and vegetarian options every day of the week. There are no washing machines. Room cleaning will be done every now and then. The sister who runs the hostel can be a bit forward and strict.

Faculty: The departments are well-equipped with excellent faculty. The Rajagiri Centre of Behavior Sciences (Psychology Department) has more than 10 professors who are experienced in their respective fields of study. It is to be highlighted that the professors who teach qualitative and quantitative research are very helpful and extremely diligent. There are semester exams twice every year, which are relatively easy.

Other: The campus life is pretty good, but students are not allowed on the campus after their hostel timings, which is a bit frustrating. There are annual programs and events. Splendor is the college's annual fest that lasts three to five days, and there are programs conducted by every department annually. The campus is very scenic, with many trees and modern infrastructure. The course syllabus in Rajagiri is very extensive and detailed, which is why I opted to choose this college. The lab facilities could be improved to facilitate the strength of the batch.

Best college in entire Kerala state. No.1.

Placements: Students were eligible for placement after 3rd semester however pre-placement offers are given during 2nd semester internship period is mostly 3-6 months. 79 companies come to date which included EY, Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI, PWC, Phonepe, Muthoot Finance, TCS, Asian paints, Berger paints etc. In placement 6.5 LPA is the average package. Rajagiri makes sure students go through various training programmes to help them to grab the best offers. I got an internship in SFO Technologies, Royal Enfield and was placed in KPMG so I got a good start in my career.

Infrastructure: Rajagiri is the best management college in Kochi Its campus and environment are blissful inceptra is the biggest management fest conducted in our college from Dec-Jan month. Our classrooms are well-equipped with charging ports for phones and laptops and 4 bench rows in class. College life is very minimal in how want to study it best place but for those who want to enjoy college life, Rajagiri is not for you. College hostel is compulsory for all, fees are 1 lac which is expensive 3 students share the same room, food is veg and non-veg sometimes the taste of food is not good. Sports events are held once in year basketball, football, cricket, kho, kabbadi etc.

Faculty: Our college is autonomous our highly talented professors select chapters and syllabus according to future trends, the syllabus is mostly related to MG University's similar concepts. Assignments and lectures are very hectic, back-to-back lectures are conducted but we need to study on our own to get pass, this is my personal opinion. But teachers clarify doubts instantly. We can not say about the difficulty of exams it is different for every year.

Other: College is just perfect I do not wish anything is changed.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: More than 90% of students are placed. There was no specific package offered. Fee was fixed at Rs.1,60,000 per semester. Top recruiting companies are Hp, HCL, and Infosys. Around 80% got internships. Top roles offered are based on good leadership skills, communication skills, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and study environment are so good. We have a nature-friendly environment. We have Wi-Fi, labs, big classrooms, and a very big library. There are both girls and boys hostels. There are 2 girls hostels for undergraduates and postgraduates separately. We have a very big boys hostel with all the facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester examinations are not that difficult. We can score 70% easily if we listen to the class. Most of the professors are doctorate holders.

Other: I wish to become an HR manager and as a stepping stone, I thought BBA would lead me to my dream. It would be better if they could reduce the portion for examination when the total mark is low. We get to experience and be a part of a wide range of programs such as splendor.

Hostel vibe is good but food is not that good.

Placements: Lot of students gets recruited by companies like tata, Infosys, KPMG etc. There are many roles offered for the students and the highest package is 800000 per annum and average package is 500000 and the lowest is 200000. Lot of internship programs are also available from lot of companies.

Infrastructure: There are free Wi-Fi for students and every classes have air conditioning and fans too. Also there are digital boards in classes. There is a very good library in the college which covers three floors and the computer labs are has good amount of computers.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful so far they are vibe to talk with and clarify all your doubts also there is mentorship programs for the students. The curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry ready. The sem exam is neither hard nor that easy.

Other: I chose this course because it's a professional degree and also there are lot of chances of getting placed. There are lot of good events like splendor and Euphoria which are planned, organised and run by the students. The management just Funds the programs.
