A college with natural beauty in Attappady.
Placements: Previous year, TCS did a placement programme for B.Com students. It is a government college so the placement opportunity is lower as compared to private colleges. B.Com CA offers many career options to the students such as in accounts or computer related jobs.
Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are available such as Wi-Fi, computer lab, classrooms, library, playground, gym, etc. Hostel and canteen facilities are available. Medical facilities are also there near to the college. Students get the opportunity to showcase their talent in sports, games and arts in the university’s competitions.
Faculty: It is a government college so the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. This college is under Calicut University. Exams and its curriculum are based on university guidelines. 35% marks are required to pass the exams. This is the only college with public administration degree under Calicut University.
Other: The college has the best climate and atmosphere.

Good faculty support with decent placements and active campus life.
Placements: I belong to the B.A. Public Administration batch, where around 65% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the average was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Top recruiters included NGOs, consultancies, policy research firms, and government-like organizations. Nearly 50% of students secured internships in think tanks, non-profit organizations, and government departments. The major roles offered were policy analyst trainee, HR associate, project coordinator, and research intern.
Infrastructure: The B.A. Public Administration course had well-equipped classrooms with Wi-Fi, projector facilities, and access to a rich library with books and journals related to governance and public policy. The hostel provided clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and a common study space. The mess served decent food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the canteen offered additional snacks. Medical facilities were available within campus along with tie-ups to nearby hospital. Students could also participate in sports, indoor games, and cultural activities, ensuring a balanced campus life.
Faculty: The faculty members of the B.A. Public Administration course is highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, ensuring clarity in both theory and practical aspects of governance and policy. The curriculum was well-structured, covering relevant subjects that build a strong foundation for higher studies, civil services, and industry roles. The teaching quality was interactive, with emphasis on case studies and research-based learning. Semester exams were moderately difficult, testing both conceptual understanding and writing skills, but most students were able to clear them with good preparation. The pass percentage remained consistently high, reflecting effective teaching and academic support.
Other: I chose B.A. Public Administration due to my interest in governance and public policy. Course provided a strong academic foundation and opportunities for internships, though more field visits and workshops would have been helpful. The campus offered cultural fests, extracurricular activities, and scholarship support, creating a lively environment. Hostel and library facilities were good, and the faculty was supportive and knowledgeable. The course also encouraged students to prepare for higher studies and competitive exams. Overall, it offered a balanced mix of academics, activities, and personal growth opportunities, making my learning experience enriching and meaningful.
