RGUKT is a boon for rural topper students across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Placements: I am a student of Computer Science Engineering in the 2022–2026 batch, where the placements are decent. Many students are placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package is 13.5 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Many students at my college have achieved good GATE All India Ranks under 1000, and some have secured ranks like AIR 77 and AIR 31. Companies that recruit include Gridlex, Edtex, Meeami Technologies, Technoji, ImageInnovative, Forsys, Moschip, Value Creed, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It mostly supports the main theme of learning by doing and encourages self-study. The college provides many paid courses for free to students, such as GATE classes and test series from top institutes like Made Easy, ACE, Ravindrababu, and GateWallah. It also provides NPTEL courses, Apna College courses like the Delta batch and Alpha batch, and aptitude classes for free. Extracurricular activities such as classical music, instruments, dance, painting, and sports are also provided for free. The food is adjustable, and a canteen is available. Medical facilities are provided at a basic to moderate level. My college provides free internet, classrooms, and a library for self-study.
Faculty: Faculty is good, and since the college is government-run, there is some faculty shortage. However, extra classes are conducted to cover the syllabus. Online courses are provided to gain more knowledge on topics. The course curriculum is relevant, and students can become industry-ready through their own preparation. Semester exams are good and application-based, including real-world concepts. The pass percentage is good.
Other: I am interested in pursuing Computer Science Engineering. We can learn real-world knowledge from teachers and peers. We can develop survival skills by participating in all types of activities in college. It is better to improve faculty in the college and complete the construction of buildings as soon as possible for better infrastructure. There are many events and fests conducted in my college, such as the Qiskit national-level quantum technology fest. Every year, tech fests and cultural fests are conducted. There are also many events like cultural programs, painting activities, and clubs in my college. The college provides good courses, infrastructure, and extracurricular activities.

A campus where self-study is more important than a fixed curriculum.
Placements: More than 90 percent of students got campus placement. The highest package is 17 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infoysis, Edtex, etc. Most of the students got internships from IIIT, NITs, and some companies, I don't know particular names. In the civil engineering course you will get an internship from outside or inside campus no need to worry. The role offered is that of a site engineer.
Infrastructure: My department has all the labs. The library is common for students but most books are available in the library so there is no need to worry. Wi-Fi is provided by the campus itself. Hostel rooms are spacious and good. Mess food is not predictable it is good sometimes and bad sometimes. All sports and games are encouraged and you can have a chance to participate at the national level.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and friendly. The course curriculum is taken from IITs and NITs so the education is of the same quality as IITs and NITs. All students get hands-on experience so they are ready for a job. Exams are moderate to hard. A maximum of 95 percent of students pass.
Other: I chose civil engineering because of my personal interest in building something new. I wish they would increase faculty strength so we can provide a higher-quality education. 3 fests are compulsory to be conducted in one semester. 8,000 people are on our campus including faculty and students. We can have a minor degree in fine arts, such as kuchipudi or music. Violin, piano, and murdhangam classes are also available along with sports.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Srikakulam Campus - RGUKT.
Placements: Currently, we are pursuing the 2nd year of engineering in CSE. Placements are better compared with last year. What I observed in placements is that about 45-50 percent of students get placed in internships. Start-up companies in Visakhapatnam visit our campus and conduct the drives. Our course offers AI/ML from this year, and our juniors also got that opportunity. The highest package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: In our classrooms, Wi-Fi is available. It has clean classrooms. The library is small because our Srikakulam campus has few facilities compared with other campuses. Hostels are average. No Wi-Fi is available in hostels. Mess has recently changed to Akshyapatra. It is somewhat better compared with last time, and no water is available in the mess for drinking. The canteen has only a few items. Some medical facilities are available. Sports and games are well active.
Faculty: Faculty members are not punctual. In some subjects here, no faculty members are available. We have to study on our own. Classes are only one session, either morning or afternoon. The course curriculum is relevant. We study on our own using the internet. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is changed year by year, and I think it is 70 percent.
Other: I would rate it 5 stars because the government provides a great opportunity to study. We can study on our own and build a career. I chose computer science engineering because I am interested in the software side, like company work, coding, and all such things. I learned many things from workshops and events. The cultural activities are always good. It always happens without any delays. Scholarships are good. It is worth it for students who can study on their own. Do not depend on others.

It is another home to us.
Placements: The percentage of students to join this program is a minimum of 560 marks, and the packages offered in my college placements are a minimum of 6 LPA. The top recruitment companies are Wipro and Cognizant. My college also provides internships. The roles offered by my college are also many.
Infrastructure: The mess food is good to eat, medical facilities are here, and they constructed the hospital. At my college, sports and games are also highly participated in. They selected for state and national tournaments, also.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly to work with us, they are highly qualified and have a lot of knowledge, and the teaching quality is very good. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult, but if you prepare well, you can attempt anything easily. In my college, the faculty are the best faculty who have done well in Ph.D.
Other: In this, we learn so many things than from the outside. The fests and cultural activities are conducted very joyfully.

As I said, the college has some disadvantages because of its new construction.
Placements: The placement percentage of this college is above 80%. As per my knowledge, the recent placement of a girl is 19 LPA, and 86 female students have been placed in Infosys. Around 17 students have been placed in a company called Moship. Every year, there are a few students with internships.
Infrastructure: The faculty are very experienced, with around 15+ years of experience, and a few are new and guest lecturers. We have limited classes, so we only have a half-day college. We have Wi-Fi and a library with many books. The food is good; new caterers have taken over, and it was nice.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and very knowledgeable. It has mostly theory, but we also have some practical knowledge, and some branches have field trips. The exams are moderate; we can pass with good grades, but you have to study a lot for high grades. The pass percentage is around 95+%.
Other: This campus consists of 4500 students, so we have limited resources. The student strength is high, and the facilities are low. The construction is ongoing, so in a few years, we will get better.

Last year we got very good placements, and as I said, we can say 50-50 about the college.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students are placed every year. As per my knowledge, last year around 2 students got 23 LPA, and a few more got around 15 LPA. Companies like MosChip, a Visakhapatnam-based company, Infosys, etc., visit the campus. Around 30 percent of 4th-year students get placed in internships in my course, mainly in SQL, Head roles, and a few in data analysis.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, but the boys’ hostel has limited rooms, so boys have to share a little bit. We have all sports fields.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but theory is a little high and practical exposure is very less. Nowadays, they are improving the course curriculum. The curriculum is relevant, but it does not make a student completely industry-ready. We can say it is medium. You can pass easily, but if you want a high grade, you have to study a lot.
Other: This college is improving day by day. Don’t expect a perfect college, but it is value for money.
