RIE Mysore (RIEM) - Regional Institute of Education has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| M.Ed | Candidate must have completed B.Ed /B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc.B.Ed/ B.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. |

Candidates who have cleared Class XII in Science, Commerce, or Arts stream with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates) meet RIE CEE 2023 eligibility criteria for BA BEd course. Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2023 are also eligible to apply.

+2/Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary or Equivalent in Science (PCM/PCB) with at least 50% marks in aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/PwD candidates). The candidates who have passed this examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing /appeared in 2019 are only eligible.
