Yes, SJCE is one of the best colleges for engineering in Mysore. It is also one of the oldest engineering colleges in Karnataka, and it is a constituent college of JSS Science and Technology University, under the JSS Mahavidyapeetha umbrella. As one of the oldest Engineering institutions in the county, NIE Mysore has a 79-year old legacy of providing some of the finest courses in Engineering, Technology, and Management. The faculty at the institute is talented, PhD-holding, and with vast field experience. NIE Mysore is seen as a decent option for BE, MTech, MBA, etc., courses due to the top-notch amenities and placement ecosystem at the institute. Candidates seeking admission in JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research must fulfil the eligibility and selection requirements. The selection criteria varies course-wise. JSS Medical college was established between 1984-85. It is a private medical college located in Mysore, Karnataka. It is recognised by the Medical Council of India. It has now become a constituent college of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research which is accredited with NAAC with Grade "A+". JSS Medical college is ranked 37th by NIRF in "Medical" category in 2025. JSS medical college has a big campus spread over 43 acres & offers facilities like Hostel, Library, Sports, Medical, Research, Banking, etc. to the students.
