It is an average college in South Tamil Nadu for education.

Placements: Placements in this college are not very good. Tier three companies are the main recruiters. Most of them offer low salaries with a bond. The highest package is 4 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and the average is 2 LPA. Around 90 percent of students get placed. The college does not arrange internships. Students have to find them on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but academics are not good. Classrooms and the library are good. The hostel provides a good atmosphere. The food is better than at most other colleges. Sports facilities are limited. There is a dispensary for rest and basic first aid, and if needed, students are taken to a nearby hospital.

Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and qualified, but some lack advanced knowledge. The course curriculum is not industry-ready and focuses only on the basics. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is above 55 percent. Some faculty members are friendly, while others are rude.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the electrical field. The best thing about this course is that we can learn the basics practically, which helps in doing basic work at home. If academics improve or industry-level training is provided, it would be better. The college is near the sea, so we can enjoy the gentle breeze.
