Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2027

It has a great learning environment with supportive staff members and solid infrastructure.
Placements: Around 85% of students from our batch are placed successfully. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. The average package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Amazon. Around 70% of students got internships in companies like Wipro, HCL, and Cognizant. The most offered roles are software developer, business analyst, data analyst, and quality assurance engineer. The placement process is smooth, and the college provides ample support for resume building, mock interviews, and technical training. Overall, placement performance is excellent and lived up to expectations.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well-developed, with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. The hostel facilities are good, with clean rooms, 24x7 water and electricity, and decent security. The food in the mess is hygienic, though taste can vary. There is a separate canteen with more options. Medical facilities are available on campus with a visiting doctor and emergency care. The campus also offers a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, including basketball, football, volleyball, and table tennis. There are gym and fitness centers for students. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and personal growth.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and have a good grasp of their subjects. Most teachers use practical examples and modern teaching methods to enhance learning. The course curriculum is mostly aligned with current industry standards, though a few areas need regular update. Still, it provides a solid foundation for placements and higher studies. Guest lectures, seminars, and workshops are often conducted to expose students to real-world knowledge. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a focus on both theory and practical application. Proper preparation and class attendance make it easy to pass. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose this course because of its practical approach, affordable fee structure, and good placement opportunities. The best part is the student-friendly environment, helpful faculty members, and regular workshops or seminars. College fests, tech events, and cultural programs add vibrancy to campus life. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, creating a positive learning atmosphere. Surroundings are clean, green, and well-maintained. Scholarship opportunities are available for meritorious and economically weaker students, which is a great support. One area of improvement could be increasing the number of core companies visiting for placements.

Wings to my life, flatterers to my fight.
Placements: The college provides placement, but not to everyone. It's almost based on luck whether we get it or not. The college is below average in providing placement to the students. But, in its Cart Iris, the college is very good, and I am very happy to be a part of this college. It gives placement to deserving students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is very good. They also provide a good environment to study, and teach us many good and new things that help us a lot in our studies and life. All classrooms are properly ventilated.
Faculty: The faculty, curriculum, and exams for my course are very good. They conduct semester-wise exams, and in a very good manner. The faculty of the college listens to our every problem and addresses them. They also provide us with faculty. I get many opportunities here, and the teachers are very experienced in their work.
Other: All the things in the college are appropriate, and I am happy to be part of this college.

One of the top colleges in the district (Barnala).
Placements: Near 400 students were placed in my course. The highest package in my course is 16 thousand per semester. In our area, this is the best college among Barnala. Near 50% of students got internships from our course in many companies. In short, this is a good college to grow our future.
Infrastructure: Our college is very big. There are many classrooms with fresh air, fans, and windows. There is a huge library with many kinds of books that we can read. There is a big playground for students for sports activities. There are also many labs, like the physics lab, chemistry lab, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The quality of teaching from every teacher is just remarkable. All the teachers are fully talented and hard-working. This course's curriculum is relevant, and this makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.
Other: Because of many job opportunities, I took admission in this course. In this college, we received many opportunities to prove our abilities in various kinds of talents.

Dissatisfied with the fewer placement opportunities, everything is just awesome!
Placements: I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at my college, affiliated with Punjab University Patiala. My batch has over 130 students. Although the college does not directly offer placements, around 50% of students from previous batches secured jobs, with packages ranging from Rs. 3 to 6 Lacs per annum, averaging Rs. 4.5 Lacs. For internships, many students have successfully secured positions through the college's tie-up with Internshala. This setup, along with faculty references, helps students gain practical experience and enhances their employability after graduation. While the college experience is enriching, there is potential for improvement in direct placement initiatives, making internships crucial for building careers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme is outstanding, with spacious classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids, multiple computer labs with up-to-date technology, and high-speed (150mbps) Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The library offers an extensive collection of resources, ensuring students have access to essential materials. Hostel facilities are commendable, featuring well-maintained rooms and nutritious meals in the mess, alongside a variety of snacks in the canteen. Medical services are readily available, and excellent sports facilities encourage a healthy lifestyle. Overall, the supportive environment fosters both academic success and personal growth. Speaking of hostels, the college doesn't provide any, but you might find some residential options nearby for rent.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced in their subjects; I just love their way of teaching. They make the concepts crystal clear to the students and are patient enough to explain the same thing repeatedly. Moreover, they provide many life lessons in addition to normal lectures, which include encouraging good deeds as well as promoting initiatives like NSS.
Other: Everything in the college, from studies to extracurricular activities like sports, is 10/10. The canteen, social life, and enjoyment are next to perfect. The only flaws I perceive are the limited placements. Additionally, the location of the college is right next to a railway line, so it might occasionally disturb one or two classes nearby. Otherwise, this college is definitely worth a visit!

Average college for middle class students.
Placements: The placement is not up to the mark. Only 2-3 % got placement, others have to join local firms. The highest package offered was 4 lakhs per annum. Top recruitment was from Amazon, Airtel etc. The average package offered is 2 lakhs. The roles offered are for accounting and taxation assistance.
Infrastructure: Students from nearby villages can get college bus and bus passes for easy & affordable transportation. The building is well maintained and campus provides a good Wi-Fi connection. College library provides free books to needy and also many newspaper's, magazines in the college. College canteen provides fresh and good food. There are many sports that student can play ranging from chess to football. There is annual college athletic meet.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified many of them are PhD holders and have done Mba. They have practical exposure and teaching experience. But some teachers do not teach well enough and sometimes do not conduct classes that hinder students interest. The curriculum is good but not updated according to the market requirements.
Other: I had a great interest in accounting and taxation. The course serves the purpose of accounting very successfully. They should upgrade in accounting standards and amendments in taxation according to the ongoing finance acts. College is full of gardens, the college conducts annual fest and farewell parties which includes many activities.

The college has good facilities and helpful environment.
Placements: The college charges a fee of Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 for a 1-year course. Students should score an average of 65 to 70% in their academics to get admission here, and for SC and lower cast, they will provide scholarships. For internships, students should score more than 70 to 90% in their academics. Most of the students get an entry in the college easily, and their scholarship system is the best.
Infrastructure: Food is normal and like home, and we also had a change of a menu. Sometimes we get a routine like 8 in the morning we get snacks, and after that, a meal in the dinner. If it's hot outside, then they also provide drinks, but we needed to buy drinks. In the evening, they serve breakfast, and after that, we get night dinner.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. Even if they were not our group semester teachers, still they provide us with the best topic and best facilities. We had everything which we need to study about, and teachers provide us with great knowledge. The environment is also great.
Other: I have learned a lot from our college, and they were providing their best efforts.
