My college life: Should you also go through this or not?

Placements: They try to provide all entry-level jobs such as back office executive, data entry operator, and sales intern, as my college gives a 70% placement guarantee. Also, if you want to gain industry experience in a reputed company, this will help you gain that. You will get the full support of the placement cell.

Infrastructure: The labs are pretty decent. They aren't that huge, but there are two labs available in my college. The library is vast, and the environment is also pretty good. All kinds of books and guidance are available. The staff is very helpful, and everything is upgraded as per today's generation's needs.

Faculty: It depends on the course you have chosen. Semester-wise exams are triggering; the exams are only held at the time of festivals, but I think it is not the college's fault; it is the education system, and they cannot do anything about this. Proper guidance is provided to each and every student, and faculty members are also very helpful.

Other: This isn't just a normal bachelor's degree; I have a specialization in banking and finance along with accounting.

Absolutely satisfied with my experience.

Placements: Approximately 400 students were placed for the B.Com course. 20+ companies offer 4 LPA every year. The highest package offered by the companies is 20 LPA. 10+ companies offer 6 LPA packages. Top roles offered in our course are Associate Junior and HR Recruiter.

Infrastructure: Basically, SNDT University of Mumbai does not provide any hostel facility. However, the classrooms are pretty big and full of ventilation. The university has 30 classrooms consisting of computer labs and science labs. The library of the university is built on the topmost floor. This is one of the highlights of our university. Having such a nice canteen is something I miss so much. We don’t have our own playground.

Faculty: Basically, we have 2 examinations each year: Internal + External. Likewise, we have 6 semesters. The course curriculum is relevant to practical professional life. The percentage required to pass the semester is 35%. In order to pass, each and every subject requires 29 marks.

Other: Every year we celebrate lots of fests like the Welcome Party, Miss Queen, Sports Week, Picnics, and Industrial visits.

SNDT college for the B.Com course.

Placements: At SNDT COLLEGE all the courses students were getting placement opportunities. Around 30% of the students in the B.Com course get placed at this college. The average package offered to our course students was between 3-6 LPA. Many banking and finance companies visit our college for the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SNDT College was well maintained and developed. The facilities offered to our course students were good enough. For the student's academics and knowledge development various modern facilities such as library, labs, Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. were provided here in the college. The hostel facility was available for the students.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers of the SNDT college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were supportive to the students. Helping students in gaining the best quality knowledge and giving proper guidance to the students. The course curriculum followed here in the college was relevant and made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not hard to pass.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Many companies offered placements on campus. I am very happy with the job offer. Companies like Techno Serve provided training to many students to get an idea to crack interviews of different companies and banking sectors.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi was not provided in our college but they provided projects related to digital technology. There were large benches for students to sit on. It was a good college for women.

Faculty: Semester-wise exams were conducted in our college which reduced the burden on students. Our college offered new courses at low cost like mehendi, stitching, fashion designing, etc.

Other: Our college fee is less compared to other colleges. NSS and NCC facilities were provided to many girls. Most of the girls inspired by them got new opportunities.
