My honest review of my college.
Placements: The college placements are good, though there are multiple job opportunities outside the campus too. Many companies like Kotak, Wipro, Barclays, HDFC, and many more visit the campus every year. The maximum salary package offered was 10 Lacs per annum, and the average salary package offered was 4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Semester examination is held in the department for M.Sc. students, and classes are also held in the department. One has to submit the fee to the college and collect the admit card and mark sheet from there. The college has an environment of studies as well as extracurricular activities. The college has good hostel facilities. Hostels are available for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable and spacious. The food served in the hostel is also healthy. There are strict rules in the college hostel to provide better security to students.
Faculty: The course curriculum is drafted by NMIMS, Mumbai, as it provides SAMSoE with affiliation. The syllabus contains basic subjects like financial economics, development economics, Indian economy, and many more to strengthen the basics. Apart from the subjects, a research paper is mandatory for students to be produced on their respective interests. The course duration is quite hectic, and examinations are held at the end of each semester. Teachers are quite experienced and qualified. Teachers are quite good at teaching the hardest topics with ease to students.
