In the field of Science, Christ Deemed-to-be University offers two year MSc programmes at the PG level. Admission criteria regarding admission to all these courses are as follows:

Selection criteria: CUET + MP + PI + academic performance in Class 12*
Duration: Three years

NOTE: A few specialisations also consider Skill Assessment as the selection criteria. Moreover, CUET is also not accepted across all MSc specialisations.

The application process for all programmes at Christ (Deemed-to-be University) will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process. The admission registration fee is Rs 5,000 for all programmes. Candidates must follow the following steps for online application:

No chances for any harrassment or other violent incidents.

Placements: Specifically for the role of Data Analyst, students are recruited up to 45%, and 10 to 12 companies hire students for such roles. Proper guidance provided by the placement offices to gain intern offers. Students from the previous batches got connected with the students through various social platforms to help us during the process of recruitment.

Infrastructure: Tight security within and outside the campus, so frequent movement of students in and outside the campus is restricted. Campus is exactly free from situations like harassment and other behaviour activities. It forces us to study and has no time for relationships.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent, curriculum wise. The wise managers are extremely good at innovation and searching. A lot of assignments are assigned, and they are collected weekly to a lot the internal scores for all the subjects.

Placements: More than 50% are placed in good companies. The package is also good enough. Deloitte is one of the top recruiters. Roles like data analyst, research analyst, and all are included. A financial analyst is another job role that can be looked into.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are amazing at Christ. You get the best infrastructure possible. Hostels are safe and secure. The mess has delicious food and many options. There are many food options available like North Indian, South Indian, Italian, etc. There is a rooftop cafe with giants. There are a lot of options for hotels as well. Christ has apartments also. That can also be a good option of stay for the new students.

Placements: Science psychology (clinical) still requires a master's. There were fewer options for the role of clinical psychologist. However, we got many placement roles like special education, HR, intern, treatment plan designer, research assistant, etc. Companies like Cognitive Botix, Accenture, Tech for India, Eli Lilly, etc.

Infrastructure: We got student Wi-Fi, although it had no limitations on WhatsApp content that could be opened. Classrooms had a digital classroom and all audio and projector-visual setups. There were 3 amazing libraries with almost all the important and required references. The hostel on the campus was very safe with security 24X7 and was an amazing, clean place to stay.

Faculty: Teachers were efficient and always ready to help. Syllabus was relevant, especially when you see that NIMHANS followed the syllabus of Christ curriculum for the exam. Semester exams were tough, but not impossible. Must finish on time. The passing rate was 60% but with the new NEP batch, it had become 50%.

M.Sc. Clinical Psychology at Christ Yeshwantpur.

Placements: The Psychology course does not have enough opportunities for in-college placements. There are some placements offered in research opportunities; however, clinical psychology placements are rare since they need an additional M.Phil. The top roles offered in this course are research opportunities, academia, or junior psychologist. However, many go for an additional degree after this.

Infrastructure: We do have a psychology lab for tests and assessments. Teaching is done through PowerPoint presentations in the classroom. The classrooms are cleaned regularly. There is no internet accessibility. However, you can use Wi-Fi only on laptops, and that too only when specially ordered by teachers.

Faculty: The faculty is very experienced and educated; they are very knowledgeable. This course has two rounds of internals and one final end term. So, there is very little time between all these, making it very hectic. However, the course is extremely wide, comprehensive, and relevant to the field, including both research and practical teaching. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and mostly application-based.

Other: The batch is mostly girls, with only 3 boys. The attendance rule is very strict, and so is the dress code. The best thing about this course is that it is very comprehensive and rigorous; however, it leaves almost no time for personal endeavors. There are a lot of events and competitions on the campus, but they are very difficult to attend because of the timetable and Master's course.
