I neither felt satisfied nor dissatisfied; it was deemed good value for money.
Placements: Around 200 people were enrolled in my course, and there were approximately 700 to 800 students at the Polytechnic college. The lowest stipend for internships was free, while the highest was 15k per month. Companies like Caterpillar, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Bosch, Honda, etc., were part of the recruitment process. About 60% of the students secured internships in roles such as Assembly Worker, Design Team, etc.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi, but the labs were good. The classrooms were decent, and the library was fine. The quality of the hostel was good, but it lacked the promised gym. The mess food was average, and sometimes sports and fun activities were insufficient. Additionally, there were no cameras in the hostel premises, leading to various incidents such as fights and suicides during my study period.
Faculty: The quality of teachers was commendable; they invested considerable effort to ensure students passed and were eager to address doubts promptly. This proved relevant when I entered the industry during my internship at Caterpillar Pvt Ltd. Although challenging, I could overcome obstacles with the guidance of my teachers.
Other: I developed an interest in the mechanical field due to my technical studies during SSC. No significant issues were encountered; everything was on point. Individuals need to personally experience and explore.
