On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   What is the difficulty level of SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test)?
A:

SET is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses. SET 2026 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The difficulty level of the SET exam is usually easy to moderate. But, a few questions might trick your mind and can be time-consuming.

General Knowledge and Analytical and Logical Reasoning are easier than the Quantitative Aptitude section. In 2025, according to the students who appeared for the SET session 1 exam, the SET exam was moderate. The General English section was the easiest of all four sections. The Quantitative Aptitude section was the toughest, and the other two sections were moderate to easy. The overall difficulty level of the SET question paper was moderate. Students who appeared for the SET 2025 session 2 exam said that the overall difficulty level was easy. Again, the General English section was the easiest. In this session, the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section was also easy to moderate. The Quant section was easy to moderate, and the General Knowledge section was difficult.

If you have no choice left or don't plan to rely on college, then you can think about this college.
Placements: Since I'm still in my second year, no one from my batch has got an internship or placement till now through college, as far as I know, but yes, some are doing internships, including me, but they have got them off-campus. As for seniors, I don't hear much about their placement, although it's true that companies like IBM, TCs, and Samsung are coming to the college, but I think many just get removed in the first round. As far as I have heard from my teachers and other students.
Infrastructure: First of all, this college only provides hostels for some medical students. It does not have a hostel for any other schools. As for the infrastructure, I would say it is decent for what you would expect from a tier 3 college. There are six computer labs in the main Newton block. Except for 1 or 2, all the computer labs are decent enough, but I would not say the same for other labs. The library is decent too.
Faculty: I would say some teachers are good and helpful, while others are just maybe doing the formality. I think that's the case for most of the college. Well, for my course, the curriculum seems relevant. It just depends on how much gets converted in class. The semester exams for one, I would say, are easy for me since I study, but I also hear that it's difficult for many of my classmates, even to the point where 30-40% of the class gets debarred.
Other: For me, I didn't have much choice left because I only had 89.9% in JEE, so I just followed my friend since I had other plans for not relying on college and pursuing a Master's, and CSE isn't my main interest, so I am working on it on the side of my college, and there are tons of good resources available for doing that. I would say this college has relatively fewer semester loads compared to what I had heard about many colleges, which becomes beneficial for me since it gives me more time to prepare for my goal.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Overall, the college is moderate. The study here is average, like all Greater Noida colleges.
Placements: Almost 20 percent of students got placements, I think, which is very low compared to other colleges. The highest package is around 12 LPA, I think, and the average package is 4 LPA, which is very low compared to the fees they are charging us for 4 years. Infosys-type companies hire students from our college. I don't even think that even 1 percent of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. It has a very old computer lab, and we will not even see it until the 3rd or 4th semester. It doesn't have a hostel for B.Tech students, and it only has a hostel for medical students, which means they will give us a hostel outside the campus, which is very bad. I am currently living in it.
Faculty: Teachers are very old. They don't have knowledge of current technology, and they are just teaching basic things. We have to do everything on our own. The course doesn't make us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. They don't ask much in exams because I think they themselves want students to pass the exams.
Other: The college campus is good, and we will see greenery everywhere.

It is one of the best universities for Computer Science, and you feel satisfied with facilities.
Placements: On website, you can check 100% placements of college, but there are no internships. By the way, they provide a special annual lecture to get extra skills, to get an internship, and placement. On basis of my knowledge, IBM and TCS were invited for placement.
Infrastructure: Noida International University is like its name, its infrastructure is great. You have to visit at one time, you love the environment of campus. There is NIMS Hospital, which is tied up with Niu. There are 500 patients per day. Sports department has high facilities for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and too cooperative. They share their own journey with us, which makes us feel they are helpful and highly qualified. There are industry visits for students to get industrial-level knowledge. And I am in 5th semester, all courses are too useful.
Other: I chose this course because I was too influenced by computer Science from secondary level education, so I decided to give my own contribution to computer Science field.

Not so good, but it's fine.
Placements: My course is B.Teach in the School of Engineering and Technology. 70% of the students get placements. The average package is around 5LPA. Top recruiting companies for our courses are Max Healthcare, SpiceJet, Paytm, HDFC Bank, JustDial, and others.
Infrastructure: When we talk about infrastructure, the classrooms are satisfactory. We do have Wi-Fi facilities available. The labs need improvement as they require updates to the computers. I don’t live in the university hostel; I reside at Annapurna Hostel, which has a tie-up with NIU.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is quite good, and they are well-trained. The exams are neither too tough nor too easy; they are moderate and designed accordingly. There should be more industrial visits to guest expos, so that it will help us later in our working field.

Not really satisfied, but it's good.
Placements: My course is B.Tech in the School of Engineering and Technology and 50-90% of students placed in my course. The highest salary package is around INR 9.5 LPA, and the lowest is INR 4.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Paytm, Byju's, Max Health, and Not Detail.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, average classrooms, and toilets. Labs are in good condition, and we have an average library. I am not in their hostel, but my friends say it is not well maintained, with average-quality food, toilets, and rooms provided.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly, but not very helpful. However, they are qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is average. The course is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are hard, and the passing percentage is not very high, with a pass rate of 95%.
Other: I have an interest in it because I want to learn about technology and how I can secure or be a hacker. Facilities should improved, and teachers' knowledge of my course is good. There is no fear, they create enthusiasm, and the event is average, and a large crowd. They also have various sports activities like football, basketball, volleyball, and cricket. Scholarships are based on student performance.

My university fee is lower but they have good faculty members.
Placements: In my course, average 60 to 70% of students are placed. The highest package ranges from 19 LPA to 20 LPA. The minimum package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Birlasoft, Samsung, Google, and Capgemini. 75% of students got internships. Top role offered in CSE is AI data science cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: University has good labs. Classrooms are good. There is a library with full area of Wi-Fi coverage. We have high standard infrastructure. For B.Tech students, they have no hostel on campus. Hostels are available only MBBS students on campus. We have good canteen and medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. Course curriculum is not too much relevant and they can not make you ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too much hard, and passing percentage is 33%.
Other: They conduct regular events and fests. I chose this course because my father wanted to me become an engineer.

If student has a good study plan, they can study at home for SET exam. The exam is conducted annually and is easier than other BBA exams.
