Apeejay Stya University Organises E-Seminar; Invites Former Chief Justice of India

July 16 2020: Recently, the School of Legal Studies at Apeejay Stya University organised a one-day e-seminar inviting former chief justice of India Dr KG Balakrishnan; Joint Secretary National Mission for Justice Delivery & Legal Reforms Dr GR Raghvendra; and Director of Symbiosis Law School in Hyderabad Dr Ahmed Khan,  as chief guests of the session.

During this seminar, Dr GR Raghavendra talked in detail about new government initiatives for the smooth running of virtual courts and also discussed technological and network-level challenges faced by many people. On the other hand, Dr KG Balakrishnan showed his deep interest in the training workshop of lawyers and other judiciary bodies for working on Virtual Courts. He has also discussed the specific steps that should be taken for the smooth running of virtual courts.

The Apeejay Stya University School of Legal Studies (ASU) has a sanctioned strength of 120 students for every one of its law courses:

- B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
- BBA LL.B. (Hons.)
- LL.B. (3-year program)
