There are various reasons to join MBA /PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH is different. Being a government university college, it provides the cost-effective, recognised by the AICTE degree with the NAAC accreditation of A Grade ensuring the quality of academic strength. The faculty is capable, encouraging and experienced, and so is the campus infrastructure, and the placement cell is equally good, with a good number of recruiters, including TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. In addition, a special interaction with a global university called Central Michigan University gives them good exposure to the world enabling better prospects in their career life. The curriculum is constantly changing and emphasizes on problem solving in practice via case studies, guest lectures and industrial visits, hence preparing the graduates well into the corporate world.

The food in JNTUH hostel mess is of mixed reviews with that of School of Management Studies hostel mess being better than some others. Most students characterize it as being acceptable, satisfactory or decent and in most instances hygienic considering the low prices. Nevertheless, other reviews state that the food may be mediocre at best or may not be good or there may be a lack of variety in the menu. Though various choices are being given out including non-vegetarian food 2 times per week, there might be variation in terms of taste and quality.
