I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placement policy is very bad in our course. No company visit to hire students for placements. The study in this college is also very bad, and there are no classes. There are very bad teaching methods. No practical exams are held.

Infrastructure: No facilities are there in this college. There are no Wi-Fi facilities for students. The laboratories condition are poor, and classrooms are messy. There are no medical facilities available. Sports and games are there for students. The hostel rooms are messy. The ca...

If you just want a degree from college, you can take admission here.

Placements: None of the students got placed in my course. No companies visited our college in the last 3 years. No student has got an internship from college. If you want to do an internship, you have to go outside and search for it which is stressful.

Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi in the college and hostel. When I came to the college, there was Jio Wi-Fi, which gives 1 GB per day, but after that, there is no any Wi-Fi. Labs are average. There is no proper practical experience. A library is available but not with adequate books. The classrooms were good only in the 1st semester because they have AC. After that, AC was shut down, and we have to study under fans only even in Summer. Food in the mess was not up to the mark. It is degrading. The hostel has b...

Our college provides good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Several companies such as Amazon, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. Multi national companies also visit here.

Infrastructure: Our college offers good infrastructure and facilities. Wi-Fi facilities are good here, and the labs are also good. Every machine related to all the branches is available. We have an air-conditio...

Review of SGI - Samalkha Group of Institutions.

Placements: Almost every interested student gets an internship and training programme as per desire. But you should have good co-ordination with seniors, teachers and pass out students and knowledge of the subject. If you are interested in doing something different, you should go for it.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good and maintained. Wi-Fi facility is not available currently, but it can be available as a new authority is there. We have a good playground. It has only one mess. Market is 100 meters away from college.

The human civilisation will always be engaged in the task of construction be it for the residential purpose, commercial or for leisure. After doing a course in civil engineering you can become:

1. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.
2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.
3. There is an internship programme which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option.
4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepare to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you.
5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and on analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives.
6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few.
7. Career oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. None the less, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is pre requisite for any Civil Engineer.
8. Every theory course is complemented with relevant lab based practical work. Some of the labs are based on field testing where experimental work is to be done, e. g. Soil Lab & Surveying Lab.
