The college campus is so green and clean we have all the facilities like the library, labs, and canteen. The Samalkha Group of institutions has various sports facilities like indoor games and outdoor games. The college conducts games and competitions for the students.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and experienced. The method of teaching faculty members is very good and they explain the concepts by giving real-life examples and connecting students to the real world. The assessment conducted by the college is weekly, monthly, and semester-based based that thoroughly prepares students for exams.

It has excellent infrastructure and faculty support for a great learning experience.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at Samalkha Group of Institutions. Around 80-90% of students are successfully placed during college recruitment. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Google, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in the college include smart classrooms, modern labs, and air-conditioned computer labs, which create an ideal learning environment. It has a well-maintained library. Hostels are immaculately clean, well-maintained, and equipped with 24x7 Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable stay. The mess food is not only decent but also hygienic. The library offers a vast collection of books, novels, and journals.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable with good teaching methods. The course curriculum is relevant, including practical work, and is regularly updated to align with industry trends. Exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 80-90%. It is highly recommended.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and strong career prospects. It has a fantastic course, excellent faculty, practical learning, and lively fests. It has great connectivity, a supportive crowd, and promising career prospects.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: The placement policy is very bad in our course. No company visit to hire students for placements. The study in this college is also very bad, and there are no classes. There are very bad teaching methods. No practical exams are held.
Infrastructure: No facilities are there in this college. There are no Wi-Fi facilities for students. The laboratories condition are poor, and classrooms are messy. There are no medical facilities available. Sports and games are there for students. The hostel rooms are messy. The canteen is not hygiene, and there is all mess everywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They are not even qualified. The teaching quality is also very bad. The course curriculum is also not relevant, and it doesn't make students industry-ready. The semester exams are very tough. The pass percentage is also very low. The teacher's behavior is very rude to the students, they behave rudely with students

Dissatisfied with the placement opportunities provided by college.
Placements: Placement record of the college is very poor although the computer science branch gets some placement opportunities. But for other branches, very few or no companies visit for placement drives. Every year, only a few students get placed. Companies that visit our campus are not good, and most of the times they offer roles like a technical consultant. You will hardly see the same companies visiting every year. The college doesn't provide any internships.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility, but it will be available only in the main building which consists of library and computer labs. Labs are available for every department, and there are six labs for the computer science department. Labs are good enough to carry out the curriculum practicals. The library is well-stocked with the course books required. For sports, they have one ground where you can play cricket, volleyball and football.
Faculty: Teaching quality varies from different teachers to different streams. For the computer science department, we have mixed quality of teachers as some of the teachers are freshers and some are experienced. Teachers in the college were qualified, and the notes provided by them were quite useful for exams. We had a couple of industrial visits during the 4th year of our course.
Other: Every year, our college organises freshers day, fest, and a technical fest. The campus crowd mainly consists of local students from nearby villages.

Other: For those who are not familiar with this college, you should know that it is affiliated with Kurukshetra University. The very first downside of this college is that it is located in Hathwala village which is 9KM from the highway. If you are a self-traveler then you will often find frustrated as you will have to wait for the sharing auto and he will only go when there are 15 or more travelers in it. The faculty is average. In B.tech the faculty of first year students are not so good but with incremented year you will get good and understanding faculty members. Food in the canteen is worst you can never think of. Only one water cooler is there in the whole campus. It is being told that the campus is centrally air conditioned but most of the time it doesn't work. The placement of the college is somewhat fine but not excellent, if you are regular in placement drive, you should eventually get a job, but it is possible that it will not be from your domain as most of them are BPO/KPO etc.
