Mediocre teachers but good infrastructure, poor hygiene but amazing college life.

Placements: Almost all students get jobs because nursing is in high demand in india and abroad. Packages depend on the country. I'm india the salary is low. In india you can get anything from 50k to 1.5L depending on your role. Roles offered are: nurses, MBA in healthcare, M.Sc. after B.Sc. nursing .

Infrastructure: While the buildings are beautiful, the nursing building lacks basic things. Yes we have access to free Wi-Fi, good labs. But the library is lacking. The bathrooms don't have handwash and are dirty. The hostel is beautiful but again hygiene is an issue. There are various food outlets in the campus itself which serve hygienic and delicious food. Sharda has its own hospital: Sharda hospital and Sharda care. Both of them are amazing and have some of the best doctors and nurses. There are basketball court, cricket ground, gym present and students enjoy them.

Faculty: This is where Sharda lacks. The teachers just come into the classroom and read ppts. Except for 2 teachers, None of them explain anything properly. Some of the teachers are pretty rude. Sometimes the whole day goes by and we only study for like an hour. While the curriculum is relevant, the teaching method is severely lacking. Around 60-70% of the students passed every subject test. Buying books and self studying really helps though.

Other: I chose this course so that I could get some job abroad and settled there. I wish people in India respected nurses more and weren't disrespectful towards them. Sharda has plenty of events and fests. The crowd is diverse. We have students from African countries, Tibet, Nepal, etc. There are various clubs in the college too.
