For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.
As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

Introduction to Psychology
What is psychology? Perspectives on behaviour; Methods of psychology; Subfields of psychology; Psychology in modern India.
Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.
Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET PG Psychology course need to meet the basic/minimal CUET PG eligibility criteria 2025 in order to appear for the exam. CUET Psychology eligibility criteria include important requirements like Age Limit, Educational Qualification, Nationality and Reservations that one needs to satisfy.
CUET PG Psychology 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
According to the CUET PG 2025 information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing in the exam. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programs in the Central Universities through the CUET (PG) 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.
CUET PG Psychology Eligibility Criteria 2025: Nationality
To get eligible for the CUET PG Exam, aspirants must abide by the following citizenship rules:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.
- Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.
CUET PG MA Psychology 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) with at least 50% marks aggregate (45% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER}, SC, ST, PWD, and
Kashmiri Migrant and non-migrant Pandits). All seats will be filled on the basis of merit in the CUET PG 2025 to be conducted by NTA. - Passed BA/BSc. (Hons/Pass.) in Psychology or any other subject other than language groups OR Appeared/ appearing in the final examination of BA/BSc (Hons./Pass) - 2024 in Psychology or any other subject
other than language groups. - B.A./B.Sc (Hons) in Psychology under 10+2+3 pattern, OR having studied Psychology as subject in all the three years at B.A./B.Sc level securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects
studied at B.A./B.Sc level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet. Candidates having graduate degree in Science,
Engineering & Technology and Medical Sciences without having studied Psychology at the Graduate level are also eligible.

CUET PG 2025 Psychology Exam Structure
CUET PG Psychology exam pattern 2025 is anticipated to be the same as the previous year. NTA has changed the CUET PG exam pattern for the 2024-2025 academic session. Part A or the general section was removed where questions from general reasoning/ aptitude were asked.
