Obtaining a seat in Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology can be challenging, particularly for branches such as Computer Science and Information Technology where the cutoffs are usually high. The General JEE Main cutoffs for the mentioned branches according to trends from previous years rarely go beyond a 50,000-60,000 rank, hence it might be hard for one to get to such programs with a percentile of close to 82.42. This, however, could be different if you are from a reserved category or if applying under Maharashtra state quota. Remaining alert on the rounds of any counseling held and looking at other branches might be a good option in case you cannot get into your desired one.
